In our newly created apprenticeship, you will play the Parent Educator role and will be responsible for providing home visits to clients enrolled in the Help Me Grow Program, focused on child development. As an Apprentice, you will have on-the-job learning, classroom instruction, support and mentorship along the way. At the end of the one-year apprenticeship, you will be credentialed and equipped to explore other career opportunities in the behavioral health field. Essential Functions: * Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of OhioGuidestone every day, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics. * Attend all scheduled classes, workshops, and mentorship sessions related to the Help Me Grow and apprenticeship curriculum. * Assist in building relationships with individuals and families in the Help Me Grow program. * Support and deliver appropriate health education on trained topics. * Learn all systems utilized in the Help Me Grow program. * Participate in community events, health fairs, and home visits under supervision. * Maintains the confidentiality of client or collateral interaction within Agency defined standards. * Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required. * Demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and a culture of belonging. * Present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts. Ongoing Support and Supervision Apprentices will receive consistent guidance and support throughout the program, including: * Regular one-on-one check-ins with supervisors * Field coaching during home visits * Constructive, skill-building feedback * Access to professional development and learning opportunities This supportive structure is designed to reinforce learning, build professional confidence, and promote long-term career growth. MINIMUM OUALIFICATIONS: * Possess a journeyman's card in the electrical trade or electrical license from the State of Ohio. OR Graduated from an accredited college with an Associate's Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics, Automation Electronics, or a closely related field AND have four (4) years of documented work experience in the electrical and instrumentation field; * Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in installing, repairing, calibrating, and trouble-shooting electronic instrumentation to include, but not limited to, programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, control panels, motor control centers (MCCCs), and other process control devices; as well as experience in the installation of conduit and wire, and use of diagnostic equipment. * Possess a Class 1 Wastewater Operator Certification, or ability to obtain in two (2) years. * Valid driver's license with driving privileges in the State of Ohio.
