The Account Executive ("AE") drives maximum growth, develops prospective accounts, and maintains loan production from active accounts.

Essential Responsibilities:
Own the development, testing, execution, and ongoing optimization of legal recovery strategies for all Synchrony businesses / platforms, clients and products, including segmentation, legal vs. non-legal channel optimization, legal channel management, and post-judgment recovery including dormant (non-performing) judgment strategies.
Lead advanced analytics and predictive modeling initiatives (e.g., CHAID/CART, champion-challenger testing) to enhance legal recovery effectiveness, profitability, and efficiency.
Lead rigorous business case development, risk assessment, implementation, and validation of all new or modified strategies, ensuring swift and successful rollouts.
Develop a transformational legal recovery strategy vision and multi-year roadmap. Lead discussions with executives to ensure they understand and support the future state vision and roadmap. Conduct benchmarking and industry research to identify legal strategy and operational best practices.
Actively manage a portfolio of legal recovery strategies, including tracking performance and providing regular updates to senior management and to other stakeholders.
Drive cross-functional partnerships with Recovery Operations, Legal, Compliance, Fair Lending, Business Intelligence / Reporting, Model Development, external law firms, and other stakeholders to ensure aligned, effective, and compliant execution.
Monitor legal recovery performance, capitalize on opportunities to improve liquidation rates, operational efficiencies, accuracy, and cost management.
Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, regulatory guidelines and company policies; proactively prevent, detect, and remediate any Legal Recovery strategy issues.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust documentation, controls, and governance for all legal recovery strategies / non-model tools (NMTs); lead legal strategy support for second line reviews, internal audits and regulatory exams.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative major (e.g., STEM, economics, business); in lieu of a degree 11+ years of strategy, analytics, collections/recovery, risk, or legal/recovery management experience.

We are currently seeking a Loan Disbursement Specialist to join our Construction Disbursements Team located in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Construction Disbursement Administration (CDA) group is responsible for managing roughly 200 commercial construction projects simultaneously. We work with multiple departments around the Bancorp to ensure that construction is progressing properly and all agreements within the loan documentation are being followed by all parties. We have currently switched to a new construction monitoring system and are working to streamline and improve our processes in all aspects of construction monitoring. The Salt Lake City group works closely with one another and we maintain a collaborative mentality when monitoring the construction loans assigned to us. We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard and jump in with both feet into our team and help us maintain our high standards of service within the department.
The Disbursement Specialist will:
* Review, analyze and process customer loan draws for commercial and residential construction projects, loan fund disbursements, equity draws, etc., including review of invoices, lien waivers, and budget.
* Prepare payoff quotes, credit bids, default letters and loan modifications.
* Schedule and direct pre-construction discussion with Borrower, Builder, and RM when requested.
* Administer participation loans, coordinate with participating/lead bank(s).
* Order, input, and review inspection reports.
* Updates and maintains various reports and ticklers for loan maintenance.
* Assists with and may serve as liaison with lenders, loan administration, and outside vendors.
* Monitor and may process interest rate changes.
* Review loans for past due status, insurance coverage, tickler exceptions, etc.
* Ensure loan administration is consistent with loan documents, bank and department policies and procedures.

Requirements:
* Some experience with commercial, construction or loan servicing process and procedures, loan documentation or processing or other directly related experience.

Conduct review and challenge of controls implemented. This includes providing feedback to risk and control owners and control assessment teams related to the following control management activities: control identification to match appropriate controls with identified risk exposures to lower the residual risk level; completeness and robustness of control documentation; reasonableness of control assessment approach and sample selection; consistency of design effectiveness and operating effectiveness conclusions with supporting evidence; and appropriateness of documented issues and action plans to remediate identified control failure.
Ensures work is produced and documented in alignment with quality and content requirements.
Provides clear and transparent updates on remediation progress
