We're looking for a Product Development Designer who will play a key role in creating and updating detailed product and pattern designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools. In this role, you'll support new product development and continuous improvements by transforming concepts, sketches, and engineering requirements into accurate, production-ready technical drawings. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed CAD drawings, models, and patterns based on sketches, concepts, and engineering direction. Update, revise, and maintain drawings to support product enhancements, engineering changes, and quality improvements. Ensure all designs accurately reflect the required features, specifications, and visual standards. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to support design intent, feasibility, and functionality. Follow established procedures and documentation practices for design changes and file management. Assist with detailing, redrawing, and maintaining design documentation for components, assemblies, and product updates. Identify and suggest design improvements that enhance product performance, manufacturability, or user experience. What We Are Looking For Education & Experience High school diploma required; additional technical training, certifications, or equivalent experience are also valued. 4+ years of experience in CAD design, product design, drafting, or a related field. Skills & Knowledge Proficiency with 3D CAD software and associated design tools. Understanding of design principles, technical drawing standards, and blueprint/technical document interpretation. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, consistent design work. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate across teams and follow established development and documentation processes. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $67,000 - $87,000 annually.
