Scope: The CAD Designer will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining all company's CAD drawings. This role will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards of all drawings. CAD Designer will support new capital projects and initiatives by designing new layouts and plans. This role will Develop and maintain drawings' naming convention, archival folders, revisions, and the overall administrative tasks required for upkeeping an organized CAD drawing system. **Department:** Engineering **Electric Machinery Company. a division of WEG Electric Corp.** **Minneapolis, Minnesota** ** Design Drafter **DEPARTMENT:** Engineering Department ** The Design Drafter will create and maintain designs, layouts, drawings, and documentation required for product lines, which include motors, generators and magnetic drives. Will follow internal and internationals standards, as well as applicable specifications in order to achieve satisfactory product performance. Product lines contain both standard and custom designs with high engineering content. Additionally, support customer orders from the proposal phase thru the design, development, manufacturing, testing, and field service/aftermarket phases.
