Yang Yuanqing (born 12 November 1964) is a Chinese business executive and philanthropist who is the current chairman and CEO of Lenovo.

Experienced high-tech and IT industry executive with global experience.

Demonstrated ability to architect and drive company-level strategic and operational programs with expertise in leading complex initiatives for impact. Technology and digital leadership in enabling businesses through a combination of smart process design coupled with the paradigms unlocked by new technologies for better user/customer experience as well as efficiency.

Proven track record of developing and mentoring people and building high-performing teams.

I am currently Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer of Lenovo, assuming the role in August 2020. As Chief Security Officer, I have worldwide responsibility and oversight for the integrity of Lenovo’s supply chain, products, services, and data protection.

Prior to assuming my current role, I was the Chief Operating Officer for DCG and Senior Vice President, DCG Solutions and Segments. I led all DCG business segments and drove greater alignment in product management, operations, solutions and product marketing, partnering with our customers to drive their digital transformation.

Before joining Lenovo, I worked at Intel for 24 years where I was most recently Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Software and Services Group (SSG). I led platform software development worldwide with resources in more than 20 countries, driving key SW efforts end-to-end for all of Intel’s IOT, PC and Data Center businesses. Prior to joining Intel, I worked for Hewlett-Packard as a software developer on real-time operating systems transitioning into my final role as marketing manager.

I am currently chairman of the board of the Joint Development Foundation and a member of the Oregon State University Dean’s Leadership Council in the College of Engineering.

My career began at age 17 when I enlisted in the U.S. Navy. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University and a master’s degree in Management from Stanford University.

Laura Quatela, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, joined the company in 2016 and is responsible for Lenovo’s overall legal strategy.

Before Lenovo, Ms. Quatela co-founded a global consulting firm in 2014 to help clients leverage intellectual property assets and organizations, and make more informed technology investment decisions. Among her roles, Laura served as executive vice president of intellectual property for Alcatel-Lucent SA, reporting to the CEO, and was responsible for leading the company’s efforts to monetize its patent portfolio.

Previously, Laura was President of Eastman Kodak, where she held various leadership positions. In 2004, she oversaw the licensing of the company’s technology and patents, which generated more than $4 billion dollars. In 2008, she became Kodak’s first Chief Intellectual Property Officer, a role she retained when named the company’s General Counsel in 2011. She also served as co-COO in 2012.

Currently, Ms. Quatela also serves on the board of directors of Technicolor SA, where she chairs the strategy committee.

Paul J Walsh is a SVP and Global Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Lenovo, Member Of The Board Of Advisors at R-STOR INC, and Member Of The Board Of Advisors at Quantum Metric and is based in San Francisco, California. He has worked as Advisory Board Member at Mirantis; Vice President & GM, Online Business Unit at SEARS HOLDINGS CORP; and Senior Vice President, Visa Platform Strategy and Innovation at VISA INC.. Paul attended Griffith College Dublin.

Yong Rui is the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Lenovo Group. He is in charge of Lenovo's technical strategy, research and development directions, and Lenovo Research, one of Lenovo's most important innovation engines.
