Prior to assuming my current role, I was the Chief Operating Officer for DCG and Senior Vice President, DCG Solutions and Segments. I led all DCG business segments and drove greater alignment in product management, operations, solutions and product marketing, partnering with our customers to drive their digital transformation.

Before joining Lenovo, I worked at Intel for 24 years where I was most recently Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Software and Services Group (SSG). I led platform software development worldwide with resources in more than 20 countries, driving key SW efforts end-to-end for all of Intel’s IOT, PC and Data Center businesses. Prior to joining Intel, I worked for Hewlett-Packard as a software developer on real-time operating systems transitioning into my final role as marketing manager.

I am currently chairman of the board of the Joint Development Foundation and a member of the Oregon State University Dean’s Leadership Council in the College of Engineering.

My career began at age 17 when I enlisted in the U.S. Navy. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University and a master’s degree in Management from Stanford University.
