Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from Accredited Program Interior Design and/or Architecture Program or equivalent experience required.
12 +years of luxury design experience inclusive of Hotels, Resort, F&B and Spa.
Must have a natural eye for innovation and detail across various project types including Luxury resorts or hospitality developments.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of design or execution.
Demonstrated ability to provide critical design review to design teams, communicating design ideas and direction quickly.

Position Summary
As a DLR Group Summer Intern, you will be an important part of our integrated design team and will help produce designs for commercial, educational, and municipal buildings of all sizes and complexities. Our Summer Internship Program is a paid, full-time opportunity running from May 19 through August 7, 2026. We expect interns to participate throughout the duration of the program. What you will do:
Perform periodic quality assurance reviews of Revit models and report back to design teams performance issues and assist with resolution
Assist in BIM Execution planning meetings and setup of projects through our project startup portal
Assist with reality-capture Revit modeling of existing conditions from point clouds
Assist with conducting Clash detection reviews for projects
Develop Revit content and implement standards changes into active Revit project files
Assist with the management of BIM 360 project sites
Required Qualifications:
Enrolled in a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree program
Experience with Revit
Experience with Dynamo, Grasshopper or a programming language
Excellent v isual, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
Completed 3 years of design education prior to the start of the internship
Ability to prioritize and manage many different tasks

Participate in knowledge sharing across the firm through written, visual, and verbal communication
Assist with business development efforts by translating research findings into strategic insights that support client goals
Required Qualifications:
Graduate-level program experience in a design discipline, research methodology, social science, or a related field
Experience conducting interviews, focus groups, and/or observational studies and synthesizing information learned
Demonstrable experience visualizing qualitative data findings
Experience reading, synthesizing, and summarizing peer-reviewed research
Exposure to quantitative research methods
Familiarity with Human Subjects Research practices (HSR certification preferred but not required)
Comfort presenting findings and data to diverse audiences in a variety of settings
Demonstrated strong academic performance and involvement in student or community organizations
