If you like to work 6 days a week for most if not all of the year Lesco is the place for you

To many hours at work and it's not voluntary, it is mandatory. Out on the floor it's cold in winter and hot in summer, no climate control except in the office. The machinery and methods of manufacturing are state of the art 20 years ago.

The perks are nothing extraordinary but not too bad, 5 PTO days, maximum of 4 weeks vacation, family insurance a bit over 100.00 per week per employee. The best perk is that you can build up to 4 weeks of vacation, it just takes 20 years to get to that point.

The company could improve it's culture by being more open and honest with it's employees, some of its managers just tell you what they think you want to hear. I just think it's untrained managers or poorly trained management

It's not hard to get hired by Lesco as it seems like they can't get enough help so having some experience in fabrication or assembly or machine or drafting experience and the desire to work at least 58 hours a week will make or break your chances of getting hired, make no mistake the work hours are non negotiable

Lesco does hire lots of people from Latino and Mexican descent and they are usually a good addition to the work force but it's my understanding that they pay them less than they pay white people

The ability to work so many hours allows me to provide for my family, it's a tradeoff of either being at work or at home with family.
