To this end, he moved beyond the traditional Saturday radio broadcasts of the Metropolitan Opera to create the "Live from the Met" television opera series in 1977.

Levine’s Maryland campus relocated to the Music Center at Strathmore in January 2005, joining a partnership with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Strathmore, Washington Performing Arts Society, National Philharmonic, CityDance Ensemble and Montgomery Classic Youth Orchestras.

In 2006 Beyoncé released her second solo studio album, B’Day, which featured several coproducers, including the hit-making duo the Neptunes.

He began adding baritone roles to his repertoire in 2009, many of which received wide acclaim.

In December 2017 Levine was suspended by the Metropolitan Opera following accusations from three men that he had sexually abused them when they were teenagers decades earlier.

Over the course of an opera career that lasted more than five decades, Domingo sang an unprecedented number of different roles—reaching 150 in 2018—and he continued to learn new parts into his 70s.

By 2019 Beyoncé had won 23 Grammy Awards and was the most-nominated female artist in Grammy history, with 62 nominations.

Beyoncé later cowrote and performed “Be Alive” for the film King Richard (2021), and it received an Oscar nomination for best original song.
