Leviton, based out of Melville, N.Y., just outside of New York City, began operations in 1906 manufacturing brass mantle tips for the gas lighting infrastructure in the Manhattan area.
2009 Leviton introduces the first third-party verified component-rated Category 6A System.
2011 Brand-Rex becomes the first network cabling company to achieve carbon neutral status.
2013 Leviton introduces high-density Opt-X® HDX fiber platform for data centers.
2015 Leviton acquires Brand-Rex and expands business across Europe; introduces award-winning Atlas-X1™ Premium Copper System.
According to Perdue, that expansion means a capital investment of $7.3 million in the community between now and 2016.
2017 Leviton opens Data Center Factory at its Glenrothes, Scotland facility, providing customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia with custom pre-terminated cabling and cassettes, with rapid delivery.
2018 Leviton introduces the industry's first end-to-end Category 8 RJ-45 solution.
