1984

According to the court papers filed by Jane Lorentzen, in 1984 they each earned $2.1 million in total compensation, a hefty chunk of Levolor's 1984 pretax profits of $6 million.

1986

In 1986, Jane Lorentzen, Peter's second wife and widow, filed a suit in Newark's Superior Court to force the company or Peter's two siblings - Eric Lorentzen and Karen Lynam - to buy back the shares, whose value she put at $33 million.
