Summary

The Delivery Driver's primary responsibility is to operate a motor vehicle (van, utility van, automobile, etc.) on public roads and highways to transport medications and supplies in a timely manner. Deliveries will be made from Lewis Drug Pharmacies and other locations to private and public healthcare facilities and potentially homes and apartments. This person must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Learn Lewis Drug policies and procedures and perform them daily
* Professionally manage and assist in all scheduled deliveries and new deliveries
* Current and valid driver's license and clean driving record
* Ability to read a map and/or use a GPS device
* Maintain the confidentiality of patients' private medical information according to the HIPPA Act
* Obey all traffic laws and assure self-safety at all times
* Maintain accurate paperwork and logs

Summary

The Pharmacy Clerk's primary responsibility is patient/customer care. This position is the first point of contact for pharmacy patients and will handle all patient/customer interactions in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.

This position will work approximately 20 hours/week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Learn Lewis Drug policies and procedures and perform them daily
* Professionally manage and assist in all patient wait times, sales, returns, and complaints
* Answer phone calls promptly and in a polite manner
* Obtain and maintain pertinent information from patients so prescriptions can be filled accurately and efficiently
* Maintain the confidentiality of patients' private medical information according to the HIPPA Act
* Prepare paper work and compile medications for delivery and mail out orders
* Manage and serve drive-thru patients in an efficient manner (if applicable)
* Ability to log into a variety of software systems and use a cash register
* Stock supplies, clean work area, clean patient area, and prepare pharmacy for next day's operations
* Promote Lewis initiatives and represent Lewis in a positive manner to our patients and communities
* Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pharmacist/Pharmacist

Advertising & Promotional * Merchandise needs to be ordered for ads and special promotions. * Check daily for special promotional activity. * Check the weekly advertising flyers. * Continuously check the in-stock position of all current ad merchandise. * Continuously check the in-stock position of all special promotions. * Make sure to allow enough lead time when ordering for the merchandise to arrive. * Communicate any challenges with ad merchandise to the store manager and/or appropriate buyer. * Signs for advertised products or special promotions. * Check to make sure that advertised product and special promotions are properly signed. * Scan the departments for old ad signs after an ad has ended. Merchandise Ordering * Order from the Lewis Distribution Center (DC) to fill planogram needs * Order from approved vendors to fill planogram needs * Be aware of ordering deadlines from outside vendors and schedule appropriately. * Communicate problems with out of stocks to appropriate buyer. * Be aware of line changes, line drops, line additions, or substitutions and communicate these vendor challenges to the appropriate buyer. * Communicate with the appropriate buyer on DC out of stocks. Merchandise Receiving * Check in the product received from the DC. * All invoices should be marked off line specific as merchandise is checked in. * Invoices that are complete can be destroyed. * Invoices that have shortages should be communicated to the DC immediately. * If shortages are not corrected by the DC within 5 days, the shortages should be noted and a mark down taken. * If any additional merchandise is received not on the invoice, the DC should be notified immediately. * Check in the product received from vendors. *
All invoices should be marked off line specific as merchandise is checked in. * Invoices should be checked for key# and retails. Any omissions should be corrected. * Invoices that are complete can be turned over to the receiving manager and processed for the corporate office. * If shortages occur, this must be communicated to the vendor immediately. The appropriate forms and/or paperwork must also be completed. * If additional merchandise is received, this information should also be communicated to the vendors immediately. * Damaged merchandise problems should be communicated to the vendor immediately. * If vendor orders create an overstock condition, communicate the problem to the store manager for direction. Merchandising & Display * Maintain planograms * Implementing new planograms or planogram changes * Maintain end caps * Create floor or special displays. * Create seasonal displays and merchandise seasonal planograms * Stock merchandise received daily * Perform daily merchandising duties * Follow general merchandising rules * Complete proper paperwork
