As a Control Room Operator I you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the integrated systems at the La Salle Sand Terminal in support of transloading activities at La Salle Industrial Park.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Transload support: Coordinates and schedules loading activities at La Salle with customers and their designated representatives. Ensures truck drivers have proper BOL information and receipts associated with transloading activities. Coordinates with team members to expedite transload operations. Communicates with truck drivers via radio and/or in person; directs all inbound and outbound truck activity in and around the La Salle Sand Terminal.
Scale operation support: Operates equipment related to scale operation including but is not limited to: computer, printers, phone, fax, generators, portable light sets, cameras. Performs general maintenance on equipment used in scale operation and reports any deficiencies that require further maintenance.
Reporting: Reports and documents all weights using computer database and written documents. Maintains and reports on all inventory associated with the La Salle Sand Terminal and rail yard. Conducts all written and verbal reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
Safety and compliance: Complies with all company and federal safety rules, policies and procedures to include wearing required safety equipment, responding to safety concerns and taking appropriate action when needed. Takes an active role in established safety program including attendance to all safety meetings and ensures safe behaviors of self and coworkers.
Ad hoc activities: Performs general housekeeping and cleaning.
