About the Job Supervises and provides direct leadership for technicians. Manages work flow and assigns tasks. The Diesel Shop Supervisor will support the North Huntingdon Hauling site and have oversite of roughly 8 Technicians and a Fleet size of 90 vehicles. Shift is a rotating Monday - Friday shift. Candidate will work 2weeks on 1st shift beginning at 6:00am and then rotate for 2 weeks on 2nd shift beginning at 1:00pm. What You'll be Doing Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop. Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality. Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents. Performs mechanical duties as needed. Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed. Starting pay rate: $48/hr PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of plant operations. Coordinate with station engineering to develop and execute condition-based maintenance (CBM) programs. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations. Technologies include, but are not limited to, generator testing, voltage regulator testing, motor testing, Doble testing, protective relay testing and calibration, as well as breaker maintenance. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Perform predictive maintenance and calibration testing on major plant apparatus, writing reports, and maintaining the logs Perform maintenance and calibration in support of plant operations Provide technical support to plant operations, maintenance staff, and engineering in including technical procedure and specification reviews Provides in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering activities and programs Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications. Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) supporting Braidwood Nuclear Power Sation in Braceville, IL. The primary purpose of this position is to train and prepare to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor who holds a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License. Upon completion of training the candidate will be fully licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to supervise the licensed activities of licensed reactor operators in the reactor control room. They will also be trained to directly supervise bargaining unit reactor operators and equipment operators generally. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Attend Initial License Training (ILT) which includes classroom training and examination, along with on-the-job training and evaluation. Successfully complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license in order to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor. Must have 1.5-years after qualification. Degree from a 4-year program or equivalent in engineering, engineering technology or physical sciences, or professional engineer license, and more than 1.5-years as a qualified non-licensed operator or a supervisor or manager in work control, operations, engineering, outage management, maintenance, radiation protection, chemistry, or accredited training at a comparable (BWR or PWR) facility. Managerial, staff engineer, or supervisor experience at noncomparable plant may be credited on a 1.5:1.0 basis (i.e., over 2.25-years required for noncomparable facility), and 3-years required for a nontraditional degree. Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
