Job Duties
Assesses patient needs and abilities and develops treatment plans to facilitate improved patient functioning/symptom resolution. Provides individual, family, couple and group psychotherapy as deemed clinically appropriate. Participates with program planning with the psychiatry team and other applicable team members.
Evaluates the ongoing biopsychosocial needs of patients, identifying needs and problems and determining a treatment plan.
Provides psychotherapies and case management to assigned patients as well as input regarding the care of program patients.
Engages as a primary therapist or co-therapist in group therapy to psychiatric patients and as the primary therapist in individual, family, and couple therapies.
Obtains pertinent data in accordance with program and regulatory standards.
Upholds agency policies and standards as well as ethical standards of appropriate discipline.
Collaborates with outpatient and inpatient teams to provide triage evaluation and crisis intervention.

Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-5 and GS-7 $40,332 - $109,952 per year
Locality pay varies by duty location.Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary. Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level. Promotions are at the discretion of the agency. This training consists of basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training, examination of cargo/bags/merchandise, physical fitness, etc. Candidates assigned to the southern border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program, which will be completed at their home port. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this position.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Geoscience Trainee, you will participate in a one-year training period learning the job duties of a Geoscientist. You will gain experience analyzing and resolving hydrogeologic program issues through a detailed review of data in both field and office settings in support of the Environmental Cleanup Program. Work includes administration of the Hazardous Sites Cleanup Act, relevant portions of the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the Storage Tank and Spill Prevention Act, the Pennsylvania Clean Streams Law and the Solid Waste Management regulations.
Specific duties include developing and conducting hydrogeologic investigations in response to groundwater and soil contamination complaints, pollution incidents, permit applications, and activities, which have a potential to pollute groundwater resources. You will learn how to resolve hydrogeologic situations and unique groundwater pollution problems, as well as identify sources of groundwater contamination and approving necessary remedial measures for all assigned groundwater pollution cases. You will further learn the process for compiling hydrogeologic and geologic data, performing hydrogeologic mapping through field and laboratory investigations, and preparing hydrogeologic reports.

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Aide Trainee will attend training sessions designed to teach employees how to care for and support consumers in a mental health treatment setting. Training will consist of paid classroom and on-the-job training in an actual consumer setting. Upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period, the Aide Trainee will be promoted to a Psychiatric Aide (PA) with responsibility for the full scope of care and support to consumers living at the facility. Promotion to the PA job title includes an increase in the hourly pay rate for the position.

Full-time employment.
Work hours: 1st shift (6:45 AM to 3:15 PM), 2nd shift (2:45 PM - 11:15 PM) and 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
30 min lunch for 1st & 2nd shift; no lunch for 3rd shift
2nd and 3rd shifts receive shift differential
2nd shift - $1.25 an hour
3rd shift - $1.15 an hour
Every other weekend rotation.
Holidays as scheduled.
May change based on operational needs.
Overtime as needed.
