Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:
Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.
Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.
Qualifications:
GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level
if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.
If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.
GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level
if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:
Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

JOB PURPOSE: The Project Specialist- Access and Infrastructure will be responsible for maintaining and improving facilities, grounds, and infrastructure across American Prairie. This role involves hands-on work to ensure access points, public use areas, equipment, vehicles, facilities, and landscape spanning over 500,000 acres is well maintained, safe, and accessible. This role will assist the Project Manager in coordination and execution of routine maintenance, assist in day to day supervision of contractors and technicians, and support project development as required. From time to time, this role will also assist with habitat restoration.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
90% Maintenance Operations
Routine maintenance and repairs of buildings, bridges, access roads, campgrounds, other public facilities, water/ septic, and stationary equipment.
Complete routine inspections and assessments of facilities and other infrastructure to identify and resolve potential hazards.
Assist in the construction, renovation and, and improvement of field facilities.
Perform landscaping around facilities and campgrounds including lawn maintenance, fencing, snow removal and sign repair.
Complete light plumbing and electrical projects including repairing/replacement of appliances, HVAC, fixtures, and generators.
Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, vehicles, ATVs, tractors, and other tools and heavy equipment used for grounds maintenance and infrastructure projects.
Coordinate bulk fuel and propane tank fill ups at all facilities.
Organize and maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies needed. Ensure availability of materials for planned projects and anticipated repairs.
Document maintenance activities, and project progress using digital platforms (SalesForce, ESRI)
Report and escalate issues as needed to the Project Manager
Assist with coordination of contract work as needed.
Be a resource to Project Technicians in daily duties. Provide guidance, clarify work plans, and offer support to team members, while ensuring individual responsibility for task execution.
Transport goods and materials to and from properties including purchasing supplies, trailering vehicles/equipment, and waste removal.
Adhere to, train, and role model safety protocols including use of protective equipment, safe practices and report damage safety concerns and injuries.
5% Habitat Restoration
Assist with fire control and suppression.
5% Public Access
Assist with monitoring of hunters and other visitors.
Provide relief coverage of Antelope Creek Campground as coordinated by the Public Access Manager
Assist with volunteers and staff members to coordinate larger maintenance projects, providing technical support and direction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Enthusiasm for and positive representation of American Prairie's mission, values, goals, and culture.
2-5+ years of experience in maintenance and/ or construction required, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, water/septic, and basic vehicle repairs.
Demonstrate a proactive and motivated work ethic with ability to work quickly and efficiently to complete tasks and responsibilities with appropriate prioritization and ability to stay within a budget.
Work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
Technology skills to manage communications, record keeping, data and documents using a smartphone and laptop. Required applications include Esri tools, Gmail, Box, expense reports, project management and reservation software.
Intermediate math skills and ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Ability to complete job duties to the specification set forth by employer and in a manner that meets health, sanitation and safety standards and policies including appropriate use of safety and protective equipment.

Ensuring smooth store operations by meeting staffing needs, making financial and sales reports, managing cash and deposits, following policies and procedures, etc.
Maintaining in-store visual and function by managing inventory, supplies, merchandise security, cleanliness, and maintenance.
Collaborating with marketing team to drive in-store traffic by performing marketing and advertising activities
Keeping open communication with Territory Managers, District Managers, and Human Resource to participate in acquiring, reviewing, and releasing team members.
Representing Cellular Plus at community events, networking functions, trade shows, etc.
Attending ongoing paid training to ensure your continued success as a manager.

1 year or more experience in sale and team management.
Ability to lead a team to meet and exceed sales goals on a consistent basis.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience multitasking in a fast-paced work environment.
Willingness to relocate upon successful completion of the program.
