Laborer Pay Range: * $15hr - $17hr * Paid WEEKLY * Currently hiring for night shift Laborer Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * The Laborer is responsible for assisting all shop and yard personnel whenever needed. * Responsible for drilling holes in fabricated steel. * Assist in loading material on trucks. * Assist the Parts Supervisor with laying out and cutting material. * Grind material for fit-up or after welding. * Clean material for painting. * Responsible for cleaning the shop. * Assist fitters in positioning material for tacking. * Operate the following equipment; punches, magnetic drills, grinders, and sandblasting equipment. * Scrape structural steel for paint preparation. * Adhere to all company safety and QA/QC policies and OSHA regulations. * The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required. * Perform other duties as assigned. Laborer Qualifications: * Minimum of six months' experience in the construction/carpentry field highly preferred. * The applicant must have at least 6 months of continuous work history with a single employer in the past 12 months. This position is deemed 'safety sensitive' due to the fact that a person improperly performing the essential or marginal functions of the job would constitute a threat to the health or safety of the employee, the employee's co-workers, and/or the public at large. Mechanical Engineer Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Project Execution: * Lead mechanical engineering scope for EPC projects from concept to completion. * Develop project specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations. * Coordinate with design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams. * Engineering Coordination: * Review and approve vendor documents, design drawings, and technical deliverables. * Interface with third-party consultants, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project requirements. * Ensure designs comply with project specifications, codes (ASME, API, ISO), and client standards. * Procurement Support: * Assist in the procurement of mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, tanks, piping, and valves. * Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) and technical clarifications. * Construction & Commissioning Support: * Provide site support during installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems. * Assist in resolving field technical queries and non-conformance issues. * Documentation & Reporting: * Prepare engineering progress reports, as-built documentation, and close-out reports. * Maintain up-to-date project documentation and change logs. Mechanical Engineer Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or related field); master's preferred. * 5+ years of experience in EPC projects within oil & gas, power, or heavy industry. * Solid understanding of international mechanical codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.). * Proficient in software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CAESAR II, and MS Project. * Strong project management, coordination, and communication skills. * Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment. * Professional Engineering License (PE) or equivalent is a plus. * PMP certification is advantageous. * Experience working on mega projects or in international joint ventures. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States for our company without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. Note: The company does not provide employment visa sponsorship. Experience in understanding all aspects of unit pricing when there is little or no definitive information available to develop those unit prices is a big plus. * Responsible for bid administration in preparing full estimates on complex work. * Research construction documents and analyze specifications. * Perform take-off of all steel and buyout items and enter into TEKLA as required and/or obtain quotes on items that are bought out. * Apply labor rates and hours per standard guidelines established for the type of members or frames entered into TEKLA. * Communicate with customer, vendors, erectors, engineers, architects, and salesmen to ensure the design intent is understood and bid requirements are followed. * Prepare complete estimated pricing and proposals with comprehensive descriptions of all included and excluded items, presented in a professional manner. * Fill out all required bid forms and schedule information. * Obtain review and approval of estimates prior to submitting and route the estimates to the applicable parties once the bid has been submitted. * Perform time studies, change order estimates, and assist in sub-out fabrication as needed. * The ability to recognize and manage their own work schedule when overtime is required to meet customer & in house-imposed deadlines. Estimator Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Construction Management and/or a minimum of 5 - 7years of experience as an Estimator with a major structural steel fabricator is preferred * Must be able to read and understand blueprints and architectural drawings. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and TEKLA EPM. Estimator Physical Demands: * Requires some overtime and weekend work. * May require some overnight travel. * Must be capable of multi-tasking and be efficient in time management. * Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment to meet deadlines. * Must be able to sit and work on a computer most of the workday. Welder Physical Demands: * Ability to lift at least 50 pounds frequently. * Considerable amounts of overtime and weekend work may be required. * Excessive amounts of bending and stooping to weld in difficult positions. * Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, and a dusty/noisy work environment. This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
