Plant 1, formerly known as Dixie Furniture, starting operating in 1901.
You can trace the history of the Lexington Furniture Company back to 1903.
The brand made its name producing high-quality, reasonably priced bedroom furniture, and by 1936, they had expanded enough to hire over 50 full-time employees to keep up with the demand for their products.
In 1987, the four brands reunited after being purchased by Masco Corp, who merged them back into one company, renaming it: Lexington Furniture.
