Allen Waugerman is president and chief executive officer of Lexmark International. He was named to this position in May 2019.​



Since November 2016, Waugerman had been senior vice president and chief technology officer, responsible for Lexmark’s global research and development operations. In November 2018, Waugerman was named chairman of an executive management committee to lead Lexmark during the search for a new chief executive officer. He also served on this committee in 2017.​

Previously, Waugerman spent five years as vice president and general manager of global supplies sales and marketing. In that role, he was responsible for the marketing and sales of aftermarket supplies and services offerings. Before that, he served as general manager of small workgroup laser products. ​



Waugerman has been with Lexmark since its inception in 1991, holding various staff and management positions. He began his career with IBM in 1989, where he worked on a number of manufacturing and printer development projects.​



He is a Dean’s Advisory Council member for the University of Kentucky College of Engineering and serves on the board of the YMCA of Central Kentucky. ​
