Job Summary:
You will be working as part of the Mechanical Engineering team assisting the EGS, Lead, engineers, and the Project Engineer/Project Manager in identifying and extracting technical data from a variety of sources. You will work with the schedule and reporting work progress. You will work to organize and coordinate submittals, back check drawing updates, document reviews, meetings, and workshops. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for utilizing computers to collect, organize, and present technical data through the use of databases. You will be interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines in your day-to-day work activities. Major Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Engineering Technologist is to support the EGS, Lead, and engineers tracking of information and locating documents.
The Engineering Technologist performs data searches and maintains open item punch list items status.
The Engineering Technologist supports meeting presentations, including preparing presentation slides.
The Engineering Technologist will also support the preparation and review of technical documents under the direction of an engineer, including supporting CAD updates/back-checking.
The Engineering Technologist assures the work is performed to the high-quality standards while executing to the schedule.
In addition, it will be required that the candidate has excellent communication skills and can demonstrate leadership, quality, and safety values within the work group and to interfacing disciplines.

Monitor ASP trends and margin performance across product lines.

Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop compelling product positioning and messaging to differentiate our offerings and resonate with target audiences.

As a Photonics/Electro-Optics Intern, you'll assist our team as we design, develop, build and test systems and products for advanced photonic and laser technologies. The breadth of these projects includes technologies for application in free-space optical (FSO) and fiber optic communications, photonic integrated circuits, active and passive optical remote sensing and imaging.
This position involves interacting with device, hardware and software design teams to assist in the overall development of optical and photonic systems; specifying, selecting and qualifying active and passive components; developing and benchmarking system performance models; developing and implementing test procedures, and evaluating and selecting appropriate test instrumentation.
