Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) the Patient Care Assistant (PCA) provides a high level of customer service and support to Carle patients by providing bedside safety guidance. The Hospice Home Health Aide is a certified nursing assistant. Under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or therapist, provides personal care and related services for the hospice patient in order to augment care provided by the family and other caregivers and to maintain a clean and safe environment.
