POSITION SUMMARY:
Self-motivated and must be able to work independently. Responsible for the slaking process quality and timing while supervising the proper distribution of slurry. Responsible for preventative maintenance of slurry system and quality control testing of slurry. Resolve all issues on the site with local contractor, general contractor.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Follow Company's safety procedures and policies according to safety regulations.
Ensure all appropriate paperwork (Safety pre-shift, equipment PM's, daily reports, monthly reports) are accurate and turned in in a timely manner.
Report any potential operational or safety problems to supervision.
Perform all work assigned in a neat and orderly manner, strictly adhering to Company and governmental safety rules and regulations.
Perform general clean up in all operational areas of the plant and off site jobs.
Operate front-end loader and other equipment for clean-up work.
Lubrication and minor repairs of conveying and other equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on all equipment.
Assist maintenance and other personnel in filling vacancies to perform routine duties.
Unload rail cars and/or trucks, mix lime and water at proper ratios and operate slurry equipment safely and efficiently.
Must have current Driver's Texas license and maintain safe and clean driving record.
Must be available for out-of-town work as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is expected to know all aspects of loading rail cars and trucks and understand, and trouble shoot JWS with little to no supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Demonstrate the ability to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of truck and rail traffic.
* Prior to loading product, inspect truck trailers and railcars to ensure they are free from containments.

Assist in performing routine inspections of work area as per instructions; reporting any unsatisfactory conditions to supervisor
Safely operate all assigned hand tools and machines according to company safety standards and instructions as well as manufacturer's guidelines.
Assist in packaging materials in designated form such as bales, super sacks, boxes, pallets, etc. according to instructions or processing guidelines.
HIghly knowledgeable in metal recognition (type, grade)
Sort material properly and timely for shipment preparation.
Assist Supervisors with accurate, complete, legible, and timely completion of paperwork, tally sheets, production tickets, and/or reports.
Manually unload materials from customer vehicles.
Assists in cleaning customer baskets, bins, open-top trailers as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist Supervisor in sweeping, cleaning and maintaining a clean facility inside and outside.
Performing other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or department manager.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand;kneel; squat; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; Must be able to push, pull or carry up to thirty pounds. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs. Must be able to utilize hand tools and operator controls.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Maintenance
Perform inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on all plant operating equipment.
Conducts accurate PMs.
Must be able to troubleshoot, service and repair all plant operating equipment.
Must be able to disassemble and rebuild all types of crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
Understand the installation and maintenance of all types of bearings.
Perform shaft alignments using precision tools.
Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
Able to use equipment manuals, parts lists or blueprints to properly install, repair, or order parts.
Process knowledge of the CMMS System to ensure that work orders and checklists are complete accurately.
Inventory
Ensure all inventory parts are correctly charged from store
Ensure all parts are available before starting job.
Safety
Must be well versed on all aspects of safety.
Comply with company, state, and governmental health and safety regulations at all times.
Complete and document Workplace Inspections in a timely manner.
Ensure maintenance tools are kept in good condition, repaired or replaced when necessary.
Training
Upgrade skills by participating in vendor and company-designated training.
Train on any new equipment installations.
ATTRIBUTES:
Proficient knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics to assist in troubleshooting equipment failures.
Industrial background with good troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of mechanical equipment in an industrial plant is required.
Read and understand one-line diagrams & schematics.
Previous experience operating heavy equipment is desired.
Perform basic mathematical calculations is required.
Must have a telephone and be open to callouts.
Must be able to work extended shift to complete repairs and keep major and critical equipment running.
Effectively communicate and interact with supervisors, managers, and peers.
Demonstrate the ability to operate a computer preferred.
Must have a valid Texas driver's license.
Self-Starter and able to work with minimal supervision
PHYSICAL DEMANDS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Tolerate working outside in severe weather conditions as well as exposure to industrial high temperature, noise and dust.
Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.
Lift up to75 pounds.
Work shift work, seven days a week including holidays and be flexible to schedule changes, including overtime.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 3+ years or mechanical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or the ability to demonstrate mechanical experience including some welding and minor equipment troubleshooting.

POSITION SUMMARY: To challenge and develop process mastery and energy efficiency in our plants by leading technical & operational advancements that contribute to reducing operating costs while enhancing product quality and ensuring environment compliance. Direct, coordinate and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, controlling, integrating and completing process engineering projects within area of responsibility. Provide technical support to plant personnel on new and existing processes and be a resource for information for the design and installation of process equipment applicable to the lime / minerals manufacturing processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
Provide technical support and direction to the operations in solving equipment and process problems
Lead process audits including heat and mass balance measurements and calculations to identify improvement opportunities
Lead studies on raw materials and fuels to determine and evaluate potential improvements and impact on quality and efficiency
Identify process/production limitations and sources of waste in the process and define corrective actions.
Conduct fan audits to assess efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement
Challenge operations in a constructive manner to improve performance & reduce cost
Provide facts & data for evaluating system improvement opportunities.
Assist with implementation of system improvements & projects.
Contribute to optimization of plant fuel and power consumption and cost.

Define together with the Regional Environmental Manager the process conditions which allow plants to comply with all current and future environmental regulations
Contribute to preparation of permit applications
