Position Summary
This position will provide case management of forensic clients to ensure they are properly placed, getting proper services, and are not putting themselves or the community at risk. This position specializes with this population and will be the primary liaison as it relates to F.S. 393.11 commitments. They will also assist with those clients committed under F.S. 916 and in secure facilities to ensure when they are released from commitment, they can access services.
The Work You Will Do
Serves as a liaison for clients committed under F.S. 393.11 transitioning between facilities, including but not limited to SOAR, DDDP, Pathways, and APD licensed group homes located in the Suncoast Region.
Ensure clients committed by courts under F.S. 393.11 have adequate community services to ensure they meet court requirements.
Liaison with court/probation staff to ensure client fully understands expectations.
Regular contact with forensic clients committed by courts under F.S. 393.11 and their service providers to ensure adequate services are in place to keep client and community safe.
Monitor and ensure reporting requirements are met. This includes arranging annual 393.11 evaluations and ensuring they are completed and filed on time, and ensuring the evaluator has all the information needed to appropriately evaluate the client.
Assist regional court staff in identifying psychologist to conduct evaluations, providing technical assistance in the elements of the law that need to be addressed in the report.
Provide technical assistance and training to waiver support coordinators and other service providers working with forensic clients, while assisting with provider development to serve this group.

Clinical Liaison (Field/Sales Marketing Rep) - $2500 SIGN ON BONUS
The Clinical Liaison (Field Marketing/Sales Rep) is responsible for all sales and marketing activities designated to increase referrals/admissions and enhance relationships with referral sources in the Polk County area. These activities may include but are not limited to: marketing, public relations, education, customer service, and assisting in patient referral functions to assure timely admissions. The ideal candidate will have hospice experience and/or a strong medical sales (pharmaceutical, DME) background with proven success with physicians.
Must be comfortable presenting education to healthcare professionals.
Must be comfortable making cold calls into new accounts. Strong follow-up skill set a must. Existing relationships established a plus!
TERRITORY: This position will cover the Polk County area - Focus on facilities and Physicians.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (after hours and weekends as needed)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years professional medical marketing experience, background in health care/social services considered.
Ability to promote hospice with potential referral sources in competitive areas.
Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills, including public speaking experience.
Established, positive relationships within the medical, hospital and long-term care communities
Valid Florida drivers license and ability to travel within the designated counties.
