We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned. Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards. Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments. Complete a short form in an app. Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary based on county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of $20-$30 per hour. Depending on a county and if it is urban or rural you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.
