As the Certified Clinical staff member for our residential program, you will coordinate with the licensed clinical staff to ensure that a beneficiary has access to counseling supports, psychoeducation and crisis intervention. Youth Behavioral Health Hospital (YBH) is a 54-bed, 24-hour locked psychiatric facility located in Butner, North Carolina. YBH provides specialized care through four units serving children, adolescents, and young adults ages 10-21 with mental health diagnoses, dual diagnoses, substance misuse, and complex behaviors. Summary: The Activities Therapist plans, organizes, develops, and directs quality activities for patients, ensuring that the recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of each patient are met in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Activity Therapist- Acute | The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place | Williamsburg, Virginia About the Job: The Activity Therapist plans, organizes, and conducts comprehensive recreational therapy services as a component of the patient's treatment plan designed to assist the patient with learning healthy coping skills, strengths, hobbies, and assist with the development of social skills/relationships.
