How you'll contribute
A Physical Therapist (PT) who excels in this role:
Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of those patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs. May be assigned to orient staff and students and assume the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in the absence of that individual.
Assesses patients' needs; identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions; works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Observes and evaluates treatment affect, accomplishment of short- and long-term goals. Recommends change to physician, if needed.
Performs an appropriate assessment on each patient and performs reassessments, as per policy. Performs accurate and timely QI scoring. The population is adult and geriatric patients requiring an adult medical rehabilitation program and services.
Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function of participation in rehabilitation; makes appropriate interventions to reduce pain; makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.

Responsibilities
The Central Sterile Technician is responsible for decontamination, preparation, sterilization of Central Sterile trays, instruments, equipment, inventory and restocking of supplies, computer data entry and patient charge card batching. Demonstrates knowledge of all department locations within facility and ability to access all departments. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates detailed awareness and knowledge of patient supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities
Director of Surgical Services is responsible for direction of patient care in the operative environment. The Director manages the staff members in the Ambulatory Surgery, Surgery and PACU Departments. Consults with staff, physicians and Nurse Executive on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in PI activities/ formulates budget for the department.
Qualifications
Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary. At least two (2) years of experience in Surgical Nursing. Current Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) (AORN) certificate(s) upon hire, preferred.
