Jack is chairman, chief executive officer and president of American Family Insurance. A native of DeForest, Wisconsin, Jack began his career with American Family in 1983 as a claim adjuster. In 1985, he became an agent in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, before moving to a district sales manager position in 1988. He became state sales director for eastern Wisconsin in 1995. In 2000, Jack was named vice president of the Personal Lines Division, and in 2003 he was elected Life/Health vice president. He is co-chair of the board at the American Family Children’s Hospital, and also serves on the executive roundtables for the Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association and PCI. Jack earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and business administration from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He now serves as a member of the Wartburg College Board of Regents. Joseph Joseph A. Sullivan, Joe, is the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director at Legg Mason Inc. since February 13, 2013. He served in senior roles at Dain Bosworth and Piper Jaffrey. Joseph Sullivan has been very active within the financial services industry. He has been a Director of Legg Mason Inc. since February 13, 2013. He served as a Director of Stifel Financial Corp. and Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., Inc. since December 1, 2005. Joseph Sullivan serves on the board of Associated Catholic Charities of Maryland, St. Ignatius Loyola Academy, and Loyola Blakefield High School.
