Thomas J. McInerney has been their President and Chief Executive Officer and a director since January 2013. Before joining their company, Mr. McInerney had served as a Senior Advisor to the Boston Consulting Group from June 2011 to December 2012, providing consulting and advisory services to leading insurance and financial services companies in the United States and Canada. From October 2009 to December 2010, Mr. McInerney was a member of ING Groep’s Management Board for Insurance, where he was the Chief Operating Officer of ING’s insurance and investment management business worldwide. He formerly served as President of the Federal Advisory Council to the U.S. Federal Reserve Board, Co-Chairman of the Partnership for New York City, Chairman of the Board of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and Co-Chairman of the Business Committee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Mr. Gorman, who was born in Australia, earned a B.A. and Law degree from the University of Melbourne and an M.B.A. from Columbia University

Jack is chairman, chief executive officer and president of American Family Insurance. A native of DeForest, Wisconsin, Jack began his career with American Family in 1983 as a claim adjuster. In 1985, he became an agent in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, before moving to a district sales manager position in 1988. He became state sales director for eastern Wisconsin in 1995. In 2000, Jack was named vice president of the Personal Lines Division, and in 2003 he was elected Life/Health vice president. In 2004, he was elected executive vice president, overseeing the company’s five regional sales operations, Marketing and Broker/Dealer divisions. Jack became chief operating officer in August 2006, and president and chief operating officer in January 2007. He became chairman and chief executive officer in November 2011. Jack serves on the board of directors of American Family Mutual Insurance Company, the Property and Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI), the Insurance Information Institute, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and United Way of Dane County. He is co-chair of the board at the American Family Children’s Hospital, and also serves on the executive roundtables for the Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association and PCI. Jack earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and business administration from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He now serves as a member of the Wartburg College Board of Regents. Joseph Joseph A. Sullivan, Joe, is the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director at Legg Mason Inc. since February 13, 2013. Previously, he served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer from October 1, 2012 to February 13, 2013, Head of Global Distribution since December 2010 at the firm. Joseph Sullivan joined the firm as the Chief Administrative Officer in 2008 and was responsible for Legg Mason's all operational functions, including technology, risk management, human resources, and legal and compliance. He served as a Senior Vice President of Stifel Financial Corp. from December 1, 2005 to September 2008. He served as an Executive Vice President of Stifel Nicolaus & Co., Inc., a subsidiary of Stifel Financial Corp. since December 1, 2005 and Director of its Fixed Income Capital Markets from December 1, 2005 to September 2008. He was responsible for municipal and taxable fixed income banking, research, and institutional sales and trading. He managed Legg Mason Wood Walker's fixed income capital markets operations and was responsible for the oversight of the taxable and municipal fixed income banking, trading, institutional sales, and research departments of Legg Mason Wood Walker. He served in senior roles at Dain Bosworth and Piper Jaffrey. Joseph Sullivan has been very active within the financial services industry. He has been a Director of Legg Mason Inc. since February 13, 2013. He served as a Director of Stifel Financial Corp. and Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., Inc. since December 1, 2005. Joseph Sullivan serves on the board of Associated Catholic Charities of Maryland, St. Ignatius Loyola Academy, and Loyola Blakefield High School.
