    Product Testers are wanted to work from home nationwide in the US to fulfill upcoming contracts with national and international companies. We guarantee 15-25 hours per week with an hourly pay of between $25/hr. and $45/hr., depending on the In-Home Usage Test project. No experience required. There is no payment required in order to apply or to work as an In-Home Usage Tester. You don't have to buy products or pay for shipping, everything is paid by our company. In-Home Usage Testers are considered independent contractors, we pay weekly every Wednesday by direct deposit or by cheque. Market research companies that partner with us will use questionnaires to identify and target certain types of consumers, to ensure that the right participants are engaged and to achieve the representative sample needed. In-Home Usage Testing is a quick, easy and fun way to make extra cash by telling big brands what you think about their upcoming products and services in the American market. Sam's Point contains the globally unique high-altitude dwarf pitch pine barrens and a host of scenic and recreational resources that are popular with park patrons. The member will primarily assist the Educator with developing, presenting, and documenting education programming as well as providing informal interpretation to both school groups and the public. The member will also assist the Minnewaska Staff to implement land management activities to include mitigating visitor use impacts, provide invasive species control, and collect data for ecological monitoring projects. The approximately 600,000 visitors who visit the entire Minnewaska State Park Preserve annually, represent an ethnically and economically diverse group. Sam's Point Area typically gets around 100,000 visitors alone. Striking a balance between recreation and preservation happens best when negative impacts to the Park Preserve are addressed with timely and informed responses. Trail overuse/erosion, introduction and spread of invasive species, deer over browse and other recreational and biological impacts have the potential to significantly alter the landscape and threaten the rich biodiversity found in the Northern Shawangunks. In order to keep this landscape intact and offer world class recreation experiences to a growing audience, Sam's Point Preserve needs to identify impacts and prioritize mitigation efforts to ensure that the negative impacts do not cause a degradation of the natural experience, available to park patrons. Location Cragsmoor, NY Schedule March 2, 2026 - October 16, 2026 Key Duties and Responsibilities 60% of the member's effort will be devoted to working on visitor and ecosystem management, including invasive species management, trail impact mitigation, and assisting other Park Preserve staff in resurveying various ecological monitoring projects such as, revegetation monitoring, snake population monitoring, cliff and talus monitoring, rare plant/animal surveying, and invasive mapping. Volunteer recruitment and coordination will be involved with stewardship tasks. 25% of the member's effort will be devoted to assisting in the delivery of education programming to school groups and visitors and providing informal interpretation to patrons at the nature/visitor centers as well as at popular trailheads and destinations. Goals in mind for the member are: Goal 1: Enhance and further protect the ecological resources of the Park Preserve through stewardship efforts such as trail impact mitigation, litter removal, invasives removal and volunteer workdays. Recruiting and coordinating volunteers to further assist with these efforts. Goal 2: Continue research, monitoring, and survey projects. This includes following protocols for accurate data collection, organizing, compiling, and inputting data, and presenting results in a written report and power point at the end of the term. Projects include but are not limited to: Timber Rattlesnake camera monitoring, rare insect surveys, rare plant surveys, fire regeneration monitoring, phenology trail data collection, invasive mapping, trail use monitoring, and breeding bird surveys. Goal 3: Work closely with the Park Preserve staff and the SCA Education and Stewardship Assistant in presenting a variety of education programs and events for visitors and school groups. In addition, performing informal interpretation at popular locations throughout the park.
