Primary Responsibilities:
Sandblasting, prepping and manually painting processes of components during and after mechanical assembly of oilfield equipment.
Synchronizes speed and movement of paint spray gun to manually and properly applies primer, paint, and clear coat according to specifications.
Demonstrates ability to repair any type of flaw / imperfection during paint process.
Knowledge of wet mil and dry mil coating thicknesses.
Completes any required paint / sandblast documents.
Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret drawings / specifications and work instructions.
Operates and effectively uses hand and power tools and all applicable measure equipment.
Organizes, coordinates, and cleans workstation.

Job Requirements
Bachelors' Degree, preferably in Environmental Services, Health or Safety Sciences, Technology/Engineering and 10+ years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or related experience
Knowledge of applicable sections of federal, state and local rules and regulations to include PHMSA (including State versions), HAZWOPER, SARA, OSHA, Clean Air Act, AQMDs, CA Air Resources Board (CARB), Clean Water Act, SPCC
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting efficiently with both internal teams and external regulatory agencies
Ability to analyze technical and regulatory information, make sound judgments, and provide prudent recommendations to all levels within the company
Effectively manage third party compliance and environmental firms.
Must be able to travel approximately 30% of the time

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Lawn care: Operates walk-behind powered rotary mower to cut lawns. Trims and edges around walks, driveways, flower beds and walls using powered line trimmer. Removes lawn clippings, leaves, other debris or litter from grounds, using rake, broom, or powered backpack blower. Prunes trees and shrubs using hand and pole saws, hand pruners, loppers and hedge shears. Applies granular and liquid fertilizers and pesticides using walk-behind spreader and liquid sprayer. Measures or mixes and selects applicator setting according to product instructions. Cleans equipment after each use. Systems maintenance: Maintains and repairs irrigation systems. Visually inspects systems in operation and measures coverage. Removes and replaces malfunctioning controller, valves, pipes, risers, and sprinkler heads or components. Equipment Maintenance: Maintains tools and equipment in operating condition. Cleans, fuels, changes oil, and replaces filters and spark plugs on gasoline-powered mowers, trimmers and blowers. Replaces expended trimmer monofilament line and removes, sharpens and replaces mower blades. Scrapes or brushes debris, washes, lubricates and sharpens cutting surfaces on hand tools.

Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Familiarity with function, safe use and maintenance of variety of basic hand and power tools.
* Familiarity with design, function and maintenance of irrigation systems.
* Valid driver's license.
* Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) is preferred.
* Texas Certified Nursery Professional (TCNP) is preferred.

Summary:
The Safety Representative reports to the Director - Operations and works closely with the Energy Transfer Safety Manager. The incumbent will work to develop consistency and will act as a subject matter expert in his/her assigned area.
