Pros of working at Liberty Regional Medical Center
Some of my coworkers are very friendly and helpful when/ if I have questions about my position.
Cons of working at Liberty Regional Medical Center
There are several cons to this job, and I personally feel if one of the staff members were to go to HR, those problems would not be resolved and be most likely swept under the rug. I have seen firsthand how employees are treated by their supervisors. Especially in the radiology department. For example, last minute changes of schedules without being made aware of or being told 2 days in advance. Contradictory statements that leave myself and my coworkers confused about problems within the department, regarding patients and their orders. Employees being told "If the order is not right, do it anyway because it's not our problem." In my opinion, this is very neglectful care.
I also am made fully aware that supervisors in this facility make choices for their own benefit and not for the benefit for the department. This may not get anyone's attention, but if it does, I'm hoping that there will be changes made quickly or this hospital will lose MANY of its employees!
How would you improve Liberty Regional Medical Center's culture?
I would improve the company culture by hoping that supervisors have respect for their employees, give them equal opportunities, and pay them what they are worth. (Instead of capping someones salary and making that employee feel less worthy.)
How does your compensation at Liberty Regional Medical Center compare to the industry average?
I have honestly gotten paid more and have been treated with more respect at my high school job. Before my college education.
