Summary : The Customer Estimates Specialist will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of estimate requests and orders. This position will serve as a vital link between customers and 4over's internal teams-facilitating clear communication, verifying specifications, and overseeing the full lifecycle of estimate processing through to order completion and shipment. Partnering closely with Sales, Production, and Customer Service, the Specialist will ensure every interaction reflects 4over's commitment to quality and reliability. From reviewing files and pricing details to educating customers on products and services, this role will help drive satisfaction, trust, and long-term relationships with 4over's valued clients.
Schedule : Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, or similar. This is an in-person position.
Salary Range: $24.50 - $31.25 hourly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Develops accurate project cost forecasts and estimates based on customer specifications and production requirements.
Collects and analyzes data to calculate all production costs, including materials, labor, equipment, tools, and transportation.
Evaluates resource needs and supports project planning to align with budgetary goals and financial constraints.
Applies a solid understanding of printing industry standards, practices, and procedures to ensure precise and competitive estimates.
Researches, troubleshoots, and resolves customer concerns to promote satisfaction and long-term retention.
Manages complex estimating projects requiring advanced judgment, analytical skills, and problem-solving.
Utilizes experience and sound decision-making to plan, prioritize, and achieve departmental objectives.
Demonstrates creativity and adaptability in developing cost-effective production solutions.
Performs a diverse range of estimating and project coordination tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborates with vendors to secure optimal pricing for materials and supplies.
Partners with Sales and Customer Service teams to recommend solutions that enhance quality or reduce production costs.
Monitors market trends and competitor pricing to maintain 4over's competitive edge in the marketplace.
Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)

Our company is seeking an Arc Flash Engineering Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems, specifically in the context of arc flash analysis. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position with paid overtime opportunities and limited travel. The corporate office is in Texas, but the position is fully remote within the United States. A relevant engineering degree is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze customer Request for Quote (RFQ) documentation to understand project scope and requirements.
Perform bid takeoffs from electrical one-line diagrams and other provided documentation to accurately quantify the work involved.
Utilize a general understanding of Arc Flash software, such as SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower, to inform the estimating process.
Generate accurate and competitive estimates for arc flash studies, considering labor, software, and other project costs.
Prepare and submit proposals to clients, clearly outlining the scope of work, deliverables, and pricing.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to clarify project details and ensure a smooth bidding process.
Qualifications
Required:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical one-line diagrams.

Create and maintain estimating databases and metrics for benchmarking across sites.
Engage with industry benchmarking partners (e.g., IPA, McKinsey) to assess estimate health.

Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement

What You BringRequired
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Or 12+ years of relevant work experience.
7-12 years of estimating experience comprised of small to medium projects in petrochemical, chemical, or mining industries.
Ability to work with all levels of the organization to influence and achieve desired results.
Capacity to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills with a demonstrated ability on understanding technical information to ensure progress communicated appropriately to internal and external stakeholders (i.e. technical and management).

* Experience working within cross functional project teams on multiple projects, with greater responsibility technically and/or in higher value projects.

The Estimator will be responsible for estimating contract work, projecting and controlling project costs, tracking and analyzing all project costs. Lonestar Lighting and Technology is looking for a Junior Estimator who will support the Quotations, Estimating and sales team to ensure all prospective construction projects are accurately assessed for cost, revenue and materials associated with the electrical components and lighting of residential and commercial jobs. You will use your communication and organizational skills to work closely under the guidance of internal and external stakeholders, such as general contractors, manufacturers, and their representative agencies, to acquire the necessary information to provide these projections. The ideal candidate will also have a strong desire to learn more about the industry, processes and best practices within estimation.
Responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders to assess projects by identifying requirements regarding time, labor, and material costs.
Support in the reading of blueprints and analysis of all other applicable documents to assist in the preparation of estimates.
Prepare reports detailing the full scope of lighting packages, to be reviewed with estimators or leadership prior to customer approval.
Collaborate with Estimators to compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
Obtain and maintain current information on manufacturer's ongoing pricing structures and recommend cost-reduction options, where available.
Review calculations, analyzations, and adjustment of estimates for estimators.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
Time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

Familiarity with construction methods and materials; able to follow established procedures and templates.
Proficiency with basic estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities; able to work collaboratively under supervision.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines within defined parameters.
Limited discretion; refers complex or ambiguous issues to Project Estimator or manager.
