Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise and provide guidance to department staff, including training, and conducting performance evaluations.

Budgeting and Reporting:
Manage resource costs within budget and prepare annual budgets aligned with Client expectations.
Assist with the negotiation of renewals and new contracts, leveraging attorney usage and feedback to drive cost discussions.
Emergent Technology:
Participate in the rollout and training for AI-powered legal research and other electronic research tools.
Partner with IT and business services to evaluate and implement emerging technologies that support the library and research department.
Stay informed on trends in legal tech and library innovation.
Research Support:
Oversee research and intelligence activities and occasionally deliver research and intelligence insights directly to client(s).
Maintain awareness of emerging trends and best practices in legal research and information retrieval, particularly areas that overlap with Client(s) specific areas of practice.
Lead appropriate practice group or department outreach specific to Client needs
Project Management:
Lead and participate in various Client initiatives and projects, such as system upgrades, digitization efforts, and collection assessments.
Develop project plans, set timelines, and allocate resources to ensure successful project completion.
Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent, required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical services or library systems management, preferably in a law firm or corporate setting.
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing or leading a library or library function.
Strong knowledge of library technologies, integrated library systems (ILS), and digital resource management.
Deep familiarity with legal research tools and databases, such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or Bloomberg Law.
Experience managing a team and leading projects, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in law libraries and information services. Experience using and/ or training on generative or agentic AI applications in legal is preferred.

Essential Functions:
1. Directs the effective delivery/advancement of library/media services consistent with the district's mission and mandated requirements.
Trains/coaches library aides in procedures to accomplish assigned duties effectively .
Keeps current with state standards/guidelines. Collaborates with staff, students, families and the community to delineate short/long-range library/media program needs/opportunities.
Explores alternative funding and opportunities to expand the use of community resources.
Monitors the board-approved budget. Controls costs. Upholds fiscal accountability standards.
Formulates recommendations to improve services and update the library/media collection/
Completes professional development to remain current on new technology.
Works with technology coordinator to regularly review and develop plans to update technology.
Maintains an orderly circulation system. Catalogs acquisitions. Keeps books, periodicals and reference materials properly shelved. Maintains the school's electronic library media resources.
Processes loans/returns. Prepares overdue notices. Reserves teacher-requested materials.Complies with district procedures to account for the collection of authorized student fees and fines. Plans library/media services (e.g., curriculum development, individualized student assistance, etc.). Provides professional development for staff, students, etc., in the use of media center technology. Provides orientation sessions. Works with staff to improve student learning through the effective use of library/media resources. Helps students understand copyright and intellectual property laws.
Plans/implements program strategies for students that produce tangible evidence-based benefits within specified time-frames. Analyzes data to improve program performance.
Uses a variety of strategies to introduce new library/media resources to students and stimulate interest in life-long learning.
Helps staff/students use computers, peripherals, videos, CD-ROMs , audio tapes, etc.
Supports grade-level curriculum implementation activities . Provides programs that enhance student reading and research skills. Presents special topics to classes when requested.
Helps students identify additional library/media and distance learning resources in the community. Advocates for students. Collaborates with staff to identify/resolve problems that impede student participation in appropriate learning activities.
Facilitates opportunities for all students to participate in an inclusive educational environment.
Helps students make appropriate choices and grow academically. Promotes cultural awareness, self reliance, problem-solving, critical-thinking and creativity skills.

Join us and help bring AI transformation to life on our Brand Operations AI Transformation team! You'll be responsible for organizing, managing and optimizing digital assets across our Brand libraries, helping us define and maintain metadata standards and best practices, and supporting efficient asset use across our organization.
As a Digital Asset Librarian on the Brand Operations AI Transformation team, you'll be responsible for organizing, cataloging and managing a portion of Brand's digital assets including those generated by AI to ensure accuracy, compliance and accessibility, as well as working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, project management and tech teams. Your work will help the Brand team continue delivering engaging, brand-aligned creative to millions of customers, ensuring that our digital files including images, templates and other creative assets are properly tagged, organized and accessible across teams. You'll also work with creative technologists and other tech partners to find ways to automate processes and actions within the libraries you manage.
Job responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for organizing, cataloging, tagging and classifying digital assets for easy search and retrieval, using AI tools to automate (e.g., auto-tagging).
Maintain and evolve metadata schema and taxonomy standards to ensure consistency and discoverability.
Enforce usage rights, copyright, licensing and brand standards; ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
Manage user permissions, access levels, and support IT in system maintenance, security, and troubleshooting.
Create and document workflows for asset ingestion, approval, archiving and distribution.
Work closely with internal teams to clarify asset needs, resolve metadata gaps and support requests for asset retrieval and usage.
Conduct regular audits to remove duplicates, archive outdated content and improve system performance and user experience.
Develop and deliver training, onboarding and documentation for DAM users; serve as a DAM champion within Brand and Marketing.
Monitor system usage, generate reports, gather user feedback and recommend improvements to enhance usability and search functionality.
Communicate updates, new content, and system changes to stakeholders; participate in governance meetings to align processes and policies.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Proficient with digital asset management (DAM) systems (AEM, Frame.io) and related software (e.g., Adobe Express, etc.), or the ability to learn and master quickly.
Working knowledge of copyright, licensing and digital rights management, or the ability to learn and master quickly.
Some experience with asset lifecycle management, rights management and digital archiving best practices.
Working understanding of metadata, taxonomy, cataloging and information architecture required.
Familiarity with a wide range of digital file formats (images, video, web, social, etc.) and their use in creative workflows.
Drive to proactively stay informed about emerging trends in AI and digital asset management.
Excellent attention to detail, as well as organizational, documentation and project management skills.
Strong communication, training and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
Analytical, process-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
