The Licensed Clinical Psychologist will provide consultation, assessment, and intervention to our clients. The successful candidate will have a passion for exceptional client care and outcomes. Key Responsibilities
The Licensed Clinical Psychologist will conduct individual, family or group therapy sessions based on ethical and medical necessity guidelines.
Develop, coordinate, and collaborate with Clients to create a clinical treatment program for the diagnosis, treatment, or referral of Clients presenting mental health conditions.
Conduct psychological assessments, interpret results, and provide insight into the development of functional assessments and behavioral intervention plans
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment documentation in accordance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
Submit required documentation within established timeframes, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal standards.
Prepare and maintain clinical reports for insurance providers, ensuring appropriate coding and billing practices.
Ethical and Professional Standards
Uphold the highest ethical standards in client care, maintaining
confidentiality and respecting client autonomy.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing mental health practice.
Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and stay current with the latest clinical practices.
Collaboration and Teamwork
Participate in weekly team meetings, sharing insights and collaborating on complex cases.
Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced staff as needed.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive work environment for all team members.
Client Advocacy and Support
Advocate for clients by providing education and support to navigate mental health systems and community resources.
Ensure clients rights are respected and that they are actively involved in their treatment planning and decision-making.
Qualifications/Education and Experience
Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA accredited institution.
Current licensure or eligible for licensure in the state of Nebraska.
Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a mental health or counseling setting.
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding mental health care.

Job Details
Standard hours of work are Monday - Friday 7:45AM - 4:30PM. Some facilities have additional flexibility (i.e., 4 tens) and/or opportunities for remote work. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Licensed Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health services for the inmate population at SCI Phoenix. Your responsibilities will include administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments to evaluate different aspects of an individual's mental health. In addition, you will be responsible for conducting individual assessments through clinical interviews and preparing reports as needed. This role involves delivering essential crisis intervention and therapy services to the inmate population, handling cases as assigned or referred. Furthermore, you will serve as a consultant to various staff members, providing guidance on the treatment of mental health issues. Overall, your expertise and support will be key in addressing the mental health needs of the inmate population.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
* Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
* Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
* This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
* Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
* Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $77,379.00 (before taxes).

Special Requirements:
* You must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
* You must obtain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification within two months of hire and maintain it for the duration of employment in the job.

* Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
