    Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and/or Charge Nurse, Pavilion Licensed Practical Nurses are tasked with assisting in the direct daily care of patients by assessing patient needs and providing them with the appropriate treatment plan. DESCRIPTION Accompanies providers with patient rounding, reviews diagnostics, and carries out doctor's orders. Intervenes and de-escalates patient behaviors, utilizing CPI interventions. Assists with milieu management. Communicates patient updates to families and nursing home staff. Participates in treatment team meetings and assists with treatment plan updates. Provides input to other ancillary personnel for weekly Medicare and Care Plan meetings. Ensures precautions are followed during patient rounding and documents completed rounds on the patient observation record. Ensures residents are placed on infection control precautions. Communicates to other staff, including CNA's, what kind of precautions the resident is on. Ensures PPE is readily available and set up on the resident's door.
