Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced obstetric environment. The unit has 14 beds, including triage/inpatient beds, labor beds, and operating room beds. Nurses will be responsible for managing high-risk and low-risk obstetric patients, performing assessments, and participating in C-sections.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for labor and delivery patients, including high-risk obstetric cases.
Scrub in for C-sections and assist during procedures.
Perform full assessments and manage shifts in a collaborative team environment.
Participate in patient education and ensure a customer service-oriented approach.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
Experience in high-risk obstetrics is essential.
Proficiency with Meditech and GE electronic medical record systems is preferred.
