This is a community-based position that serves residents of the Pueblo of San Felipe, in the 6th-9th grade age range, in a school setting. Belen High School 2025/2026 SY Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university New Mexico license applicable to teaching/counseling assignment Able to understand and apply the concepts of strategic planning with resultant successful implementation to enhance student success and improve student achievement Demonstrated understanding and application of individual and group counseling techniques to address student needs Demonstrated communication skills to enhance student, parent, staff and administrative dialogue Demonstrated understanding and application standards-based curriculum and school-to-work and career counseling for future vocational opportunities Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted on the job description.
