The TLP Residential Counselor - Weekends/Holidays position provides youth in MIRCI's Youth Housing Programs with a safe and supportive place to gather on weekends and holidays. This role is responsible for staff coverage in our Youth Homes, as needed, and requires availability for two weekends per month, as well as designated holidays. In support of our purposes to improve communities, we are expanding our in-patient services beyond medical detoxification to reduce barriers to accessing necessary residential treatment for opioid-use and co-occurring substance use disorders by creating a new residential treatment program. This SCORF (South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund) grant-funded Clinical Counselor provides individual and group counseling of an advanced nature to patients residing in LRADAC's Residential Treatment Program.
