NATURE OF WORK Utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, guidance counselors promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic, career, and personal/social development for all students. The clinician ensures compliance with NC Medicaid Clinical Coverage Policy 8A and delivers services in alignment with the beneficiary's Person-Centered Plan (PCP). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct in-person crisis assessments using NC-SNAP or ASAM Criteria to determine eligibility and medical necessity for MCM services.
