The Mental Health Counselor for Student Belonging participates in the full range of generalist mental health counseling service delivery, with a specific focus on ensuring all students experience a sense of belonging within the McDaniel community. Operating from the understanding that a sense of belonging is a critical component of well-being, this Mental Health Counselor collaborates closely with the Office of Student Belonging and other campus partners to provide an integrated approach to supporting the holistic well-being of a diverse community of students. In addition to clinical services, the Mental Health Counselor for Student Belonging will engage in meaningful outreach activities with campus partners and student groups.
