PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
This position is responsible for minimizing risk and maximizing recovery of delinquent and potentially delinquent accounts for the credit union while establishing WIN-WIN solutions, building relationships, and providing excellent member service. The Account Resolution Advocate will interview members to learn reasons for loan delinquency and seek resolutions.
The Account Resolution Advocate will assist employees in the Account Resolutions Department and all appropriate internal credit union partners. Conducts daily business interactions and maintains constant alignment with OnPath's mission, culture, and core values. Encourages others to act with mission, culture, and core values in mind always. Demonstrates initiative and sound judgment in the absence of specific direction from management. Ensures value through decision making that supports credit union goals and interests. Passionately displays a desire to build rapport and expand relationships with all members both internally and externally. Stays informed on OnPath's products and services to provide the right recommendations to the right members at the right time. Promotes and maintains a positive image of the credit union to peers, members, and communities we serve.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiates and administers collection actions on member accounts that are negative or at risk of default or delinquent. reviews and works the collection queue(s) daily to determine reason for delinquency and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
Documents all actions taken, including telephone conversations, payment arrangements and correspondence, in collection package, to ensure all information is accurate and the integrity of the database is maintained.
Negotiates and coordinates payment arrangements with member(s); initiates loan modifications and work-out agreements including preparation of appropriate supporting documentation and recommendations for review and approval.
Reviews accounts for completion of due diligence and makes recommendations for repossession and charge off in accordance with credit union policy.
Maintains a strong and current understanding of laws, regulations, credit union policies and procedures regarding collection activities. Utilizes various internet skip tracing tools to locate members when contact cannot be made and/or their location is unknown and pulls credit bureau reports.
Ensures the security and confidentiality of private member information.
Identifies and recommends improvement of procedures and processes involving job functions to management.
Advises leadership of cases requiring special attention.
May be required to attend classes and/or seminars to expand knowledge and expertise.
Overcomes objections and demonstrates creative thinking to come up with solutions.
Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to problems with successful outcomes.
Works diligently to meet or exceed collection goals established by management.

Experience:

Job Summary
Odyssey House Detox Program is currently looking for a full-time Licensed/Licensed-Eligible Social Worker or Counselor. The schedule is M-F 8am to 5pm, rotating holidays and weekends as needed. The Counselor will provide specialized services for the assigned caseload, provide core and ancillary group therapies weekly, individual counseling and when appropriate, family therapy. The Counselor has the main responsibility of maintaining communication with the referral source, court systems, and other involved human service providers as related to the client's ongoing treatment and discharge planning. The Counselor is responsible for working within the multidisciplinary team to develop treatment planning, treatment case reviews, and all written documentation as required by the agency, state and federal courts, and all funding sources.
Responsibilities and Duties
It is the duty and responsibility of the Counselor to:
provide Clinical services to assigned clients; conduct weekly group therapies, individual counseling and/or family therapy as outlined in treatment plans; co-lead group therapies; conduct family assessments/therapy;
function as a liaison to outside agencies, participate in case planning conferences, and treatment meetings and, when necessary, attend court hearings and represent the agency and client(s);
maintain contact with and is available to Agency personnel, client's drug court officer, and family members regarding client's progress, problems and crises;

Case notes, and discharge summaries;
apply ASAM Criteria to treatment planning;

adhere to all Louisiana Department of Health and Agency contract requirements;
maintain COA standards and participate in COA site audits;
collaborate with other departments;
work with Bayou Health providers for initial authorization and concurrent authorizations;
ensure that all sign in sheets are printed for group and all groups are batched for billing; and
perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

Position Summary
EQA Schools seeks a highly skilled counselor to provide individual and group counseling to its students and to provide leadership to the school's trauma-informed approach.
More than half of EQA School's students have behavioral struggles. A large percentage of students suffer from PTSD or C-PTSD due to exposure to high levels of neighborhood violence. * Maintain electronic and paper records of assessments and share with students, families, and staff as appropriate to insure empowerment and appropriate interventions and in keeping with confidentiality mandates
* Resources
* Research and vet resources and build partnerships with high quality providers
* Collaborate with team to insure all students are connected with appropriate referrals, supports and resources
* Track referral outcomes and advocate for students and families to insure they receive appropriate care
* Assists students in accessing formal and informal community resources
* Interventions & Counseling
* Design effective intervention strategies for students, parents, and staff which lead students to be more successful in school including but not limited to students with IEPs, 504s, and BIPs
* Serve on SBLC to review student needs and make decisions regarding interventions, placements, and supports
* Manage caseload of short and long term cases, insuring all students have appropriate treatment plans and that all students make progress on those plans
* Provide high quality individual counselor using cognitive behavioral therapy or other best practices
* Design and provide high quality group counseling around student needs including, but not limited to, grief, trauma, substance abuse, conflict resolution, anger management using C-BITs and other best practices
* Engage families, do home visits, mediate with family members and otherwise include families in students' growth and development
* Provide all services in ways that build upon students' individual strengths and assets and maximize students' opportunities for agency their healing/growth
* Crisis Prevention and Intervention
* In collaboration with students, families, and staff, design crisis plans for high needs students
* Train students and staff to handle crisis in safe, restorative, and appropriate ways
* Staff training and consultation
* Design and provide training for staff on trauma informed care, mental health issues, best practices, and secondary trauma
* Consult with staff and leaders on issues such as attendance, confidentiality, ethnicity and diversity, mental health, behavioral management, discipline, crisis intervention, and child abuse and neglect
* Program Management & Accountability
* Design evaluation systems and collect and analyze data to insure evidence based decision making
* Collect, communicate, and analyze student records and data to insure appropriate student progress
* Conform to the National Association of Social Work Code of Ethics and Standards for School Social Work practice
* Maintain appropriate communication and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, state law and school policy.
