JOB SUMMARY

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling. Professional licensure in the State of Utah as a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP Back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for performing psychotherapy services including assessment, treatment plan development, crisis and discharge planning as well as individual, group and family counseling for clients. The Mental Health Counselor prepares, reviews and signs all clinical documentation promptly. They will also act as a clinical consultant to the treatment team as indicated and will collaborate with outside agencies as required in delivering services. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The PREP Team (Prevention and Recovery from Early Psychosis) provides coordinated specialty care for transition age youth (age 14-26) experiencing psychosis risk symptoms or first episode psychosis. Eligible clients receive two years of no-cost, community-based, client-centered, wrap around care focused on stabilization and prevention. Early intervention is the gold standard to support young people at risk for psychosis stay on track to meet life goals and prevent or delay an exacerbation in psychotic symptoms. PREP team services include: case management, psychiatry, psychotherapy, occupational therapy, peer support, family education and support, and educational/vocational support.

Under the general supervision of the Program Manager, provides evidence-driven services to youth and young adults ages 14-26 who meet criteria for the PREP program. Duties will include working in the community and in client homes, facilitating groups, collaborating with parents and community partners, and working closely with colleagues as part of an interdisciplinary team. Essential Duties
Provides assessments, treatment plans, and interventions.

Supports individuals in maintaining engagement in everyday life to promote recovery.

Our Counseling Team
Our counseling team is a group of passionate, professional counselors dedicated to helping people move from the sticking points in their lives in order to learn more about themselves in the process. We have a wide variety of specialties ranging from kids to adults in both English and Spanish as well as an educated team of clinicians with over 25 years of experience in the field. We strive to provide well-rounded and collaborative care with our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, MCN and ILF Neurofeedback, Certified Integrative Health Coach, and Certified Life Coach. We endeavor to remain respectful, non-judgmental, positive, and empathetic for each of our clients.
This role will seek to meet the mental health needs and enhance the well-being of people by providing direct clinical mental health therapy through psychosocial assessments of clients to create treatment plans, including short and long-term goals while providing quality care. Success in this role requires an attitude of collaboration, excellence, leadership, and respect.
Counseling Center at the Christian Center of Park City is looking for a licensed mental health therapist for a contract position with ability and flexibility to build a caseload with like-minded professionals.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide individual, family, couples and group therapy.
Proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and creating treatment plans and supporting clients through treatment plan goals.
Encouraged to participate in twice a month collaboration meeting, an all-staff monthly meeting, and other staff-related events.
Foster a positive attitude toward change, accepting change with grace and excitement.
Able to maintain confidentiality in all matters and HIPAA compliance.
Areas of Responsibility
Facilitate complete intake paperwork including bio-psychosocial mental health assessment.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience, knowledge and client's needs.
Provide comprehensive and therapeutic services that maintain the respect and dignity of the clients with emphasis on the effective coordination of resources with other programs.
Provide trauma-based counseling and other treatment models, as appropriate.
Maintain confidential, accurate and current records on all clients using Therapymate database system in a timely manner.
Schedule own clients using TherapyMate and provide therapeutic care.
Develop a referral network by getting to know building relations with physicians and community resources
Obtain client payment through self-pay and/or insurance reimbursement daily.
Respond within 24 hours to client referrals.
Communicate days and hours for providing services with Counseling & Wellness Director
Maintain cordial professional relationships with allied professionals and other agency employees.
Maintain professional credentials and/or licensure requirements.
Maintain strict adherence to the professional code of ethics that govern the therapist's academic discipline or field of human service delivery.
Sensitivity to diversity and the unique challenges dealing with vulnerable populations.
Keep inter-agency HIPAA confidentiality.
Represent the values of CCPC.
Qualifications
Licensed - LCMH or LMFT, 5+ Years of experience a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literacy.
Must meet Independent Contractor guidelines to be 1099.
Must carry own malpractice insurance of $1,000,000.
Comfortable with and prepared to incorporate a Christian worldview into therapy.
Experience & training with ART, EMDR, addictions, teens and children (preferred).
Spanish fluency a plus.
Therapists who are insurance paneled are preferred, but we are willing to provide light support in the paneling process, if needed.
Education/Experience
Minimum Master's Degree in counseling.
Pay
Contracted position or hourly position
Direct Hour Pay Range $70-$80 based on experience
