As a Foster Care Adoption Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for providing professional adoption services, to include quality family and child assessments, successful adoptive placements, and postplacement supervision in accordance with agency policies, state contract(s) and licensing regulations. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide thorough assessments for pre-adoptive children and families;
Conduct periodic adoptive educational and preparational group meetings for pre-adoptive families to ensure appropriate resources for referred children;
Process case assignments and complete child and adoptive family assessments in accordance with agency expectations and procedures;
Participate in adoptive planning for referred children, advocating for the child's best interest through available adoptive family resources;
Coordinate pre-adoptive planning with foster care workers, foster and adoptive parents and DHS referral sources, including MARE, when necessary;
Prepare children, foster and adoptive families for adoption, and conduct pre-adoptive visitation of referred children with appropriate families;
Conduct adoptive placements for referred children with approved families in accordance to contract and agency expectations;
Ensure quality adoptions services within state licensing requirements;
Provide a minimum of quarterly post-placement supervision contacts with adoptive families and children;
Organize and manage time to insure reports and documents are completed in a timely fashion;
Attend required court hearings;
Meet regularly with supervisor to consult on case review case plan and direction, and to evaluate progress;
Participate in adoption events and other meetings as required;
Attend required training hours per state licensing, DHS, COA, and agency mandates;
Attend training to apply newly gained knowledge in proving services;
Promote Bethany's adoption services within the community, including public relations contacts, as requested;
Demonstrate flexibility with working hours outside of the normal business hours to meet the needs of the role to include some evenings and weekends, as needed;
Maintain effective communication with community agencies or individuals involved in service provision;
Participate in program development and planning as requested by supervisor;
Complete other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or equivalent field of study from an accredited college;
Master's degree in Human Services or equivalent field of study from an accredited college, a plus;
At least two (2) years of adoption experience in a child welfare agency, preferred;
Must possess the ability to engage, develop, and maintain positive community relationships with a diverse group of individuals;
Must possess excellent interviewing, observation, diagnostic, and family assessment skills;

This role is responsible for implementing counseling programs, providing individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and collaborating with faculty, families, and community partners. The Counselor ensures all practices align with the school's Catholic identity, mission, and values, and promotes a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Develop and implement school-wide programs to promote mental health, wellness, and positive school climate.
Respond to student crises and provide immediate intervention and support.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to identify and address student needs.

Position Summary
The Therapist is responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions for clients in a specialized Outpatient facility. Position is responsible for assessing the therapeutic needs of the individuals and families, and for developing appropriate treatment. Education and Experience

The Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist in the Specialized Services for Youth department assumes the responsibilities common to all direct service and administrative positions as described in the Agency Manual. The Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist in the Specialized Services for Youth department will develop and use the various modalities of service offered by the agency. The Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist in the Specialized Services for Youth department reports to the assigned Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Supervisor, Specialized Services for Youth (SSY) department.
Professional Practice
Provide treatment services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and individual/family/group therapy to a caseload of youth (prenatal through age 6) and their families. These children and families qualify for the highest level of care in the community per Community Mental Health guidelines.
Provide services in the home of the family, community or via tele-health, depending on the youth and family's needs.
Expect to work at minimum two evenings a week to accommodate school and work schedules.
Provide appropriate home-based services to a caseload in accordance with agency needs. Typical caseload size will be between 10-15 children and families depending on severity and may be subject to change based on program and individual needs.
Provide direct face-to-face contact with youth and/or family members at a minimum of 6 hours per month.
Obtain, analyze and evaluate case data; develop an understanding of the family's situation and to develop goals and planned responses; carry out the plan and/or alter the plan as new understandings emerge; analyze and evaluate the course and results of the treatment process, utilize evidenced based practices as indicated. Work with the whole family; to have a good understanding of the family situation and dynamics and how this may impact the identified youth. Empower individuals and families to advocate on their own behalf.
Provide referrals or assistance with the social determinants of health, including physical health, cultural, employment, educational, social or financial needs.
Maintain clinical records in accordance with Agency, licensing, accreditation, Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN), Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) standards and requirements. Maintain all records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) within timeframes required by OCHN.
Actively coordinate cases with treatment team, psychiatric staff, respite providers, school/daycare staff, protective services, OCHN, physicians and any other appropriate staff.
Participate in professional development activities on a variety of clinical topics including evidence-based practices and interventions, based on caseload need and therapist interest.
Participate in required trainings in accordance with the requirements of state of Michiganlicensure, funders, OCHN and the MDHHS Medicaid provider manual.
Additional duties may include intakes; supervision of interns, assignment to specific agency work sites; assignment to a special project or contract; provision of leadership to educational, counseling or volunteer groups; to work with community problems as interest and skill indicates; and other duties as assigned.
Participate in the SSY crisis on-call coverage for individuals by signing up for a minimum of 3-4 weeks per year.
Participate in the SSY check-in coverage for individuals by signing up for a minimum of 3-4 weekends per year.
Participate in 1.5-2 hours per month of reflective supervision (1 hour weekly if working towards MI-AIMH Endorsement Level II).
Attend weekly department meetings, trainings and supervision scheduled. Attend specialized supervision groups for evidence-based practices, licensure and high-risk cases as assigned by supervisor.
Administration
Perform the administrative tasks related to assigned caseload and other work assignments as required by the agency by effectively utilizing the various tools provided by the program and/or the electronic healthcare record system. This includes effective and efficient management of their individual caseload; completing documentation and responsibilities related to their caseload in adherence with OCHN and MDHHS protocols.
Provide assistance, support and leadership to other staff members through consulting, teaching and other means as appropriate, and to coordinate program activities when assigned to do so.
Responsible for incorporating principles of diversity, equity and inclusion in work processes and in job functions. Responsible for promoting a feeling of welcoming, belonging, and acceptance to all clients and staff.

Scope to Work
Our Behavioral Health department is looking for an outpatient psychotherapist to provide services to adult patients, including performing diagnostic examinations of the patient's psychosocial functioning and adjustments to their medical and/or psychiatric illness, developing treatment plans and goals consistent with the needs of the patient, utilizing evidence based treatment modalities in a manner which meets the standards of the profession and changing needs of the patient, documenting plans, interventions and the patient's response/involvement according to standards, and participating in ongoing quality monitoring and process improvement activities. The psychotherapist will demonstrate teamwork and integrity in all work-related activities and ensure that work performed supports Corewell Health's mission of Superior Quality Care.

Our Camp Counselor positions have the potential to serve as competitively paid internships that meet your course credit needs.
First and foremost, your primary responsibilities will be as a Camp Counselor. As an Intern, you will be expected to fulfill your regular daily job responsibilities and it will be up to you to complete your internship responsibilities and to ensure that they do not interfere with your work obligations. Contact your college advisor in advance and ask them if you can use your summer camp job as a practicum, internship or for other course credits. If KE Camps can meet your internship requirements, your on-site Camp Director will be your field supervisor and oversee your course work. You will also be connected to a KE Camps contact at our HQ in Skillman, NJ. To receive credit, you must complete the course, practicum or internship per your college's parameters and complete your summer employment.
As a Camp Counselor, you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. Our Counselors interact with our campers throughout the entire day, helping them make friends, try new things, and generally caring for their well-being. The role of a Counselor is to participate, build relationships and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child.
Camp Counselor Qualities
* Ability to help children grow in character, experiences and insights
* Ability to guard the health and well-being of campers at all times
* Capable of sustaining energy for participation in a full day's worth of activities
* Prior experience working with children
* Enthusiastic, Responsible, Dependable, Consistent, Level-Headed, Flexible, and Calm in all situations
* CPR/First Aid Certified OR willing to become certified before the summer begins
Camp Counselor Responsibilities
* Work with group of campers and provide a fun, safe and exciting camp experience
* Cooperate with fellow Counselors and Camp Director
* Greet families and campers upon arrival
* Support Camp Director in establishing rules and emergency procedures with campers
* Participate in all camp activities
* Supervise daily swim time in a hands-on manner from within the water (lifeguard certification not required)
