Will consider flexible shifts, including a 4-day work week As a Functional Family Therapist, you will provide evidence-based services to families with youth ages 11 through 18 years old who are at risk or have been referred for behavioral or emotional problems. The Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model is designed to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends. This rewarding career works with adolescents and their families by tailoring services to the individual family using treatment protocols, case management, crisis intervention, community outreach and in-home services. You will function as part of an FFT team and will participate in weekly team supervision and consultation from FFT trained clinicians. This position is located in Williston and may be eligible for hybrid or in-office/remote work. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Seeks case supervision and consultation as appropriate. * Determines nature of client's situation by interviewing client; assessing medical, psychological, emotional, and social information. * Establishes course of action by exploring options; setting goals with client. * Obtains assistance for client by referring him/her to community resources; arranging for appointments; establishing rapport with other agencies. * Fosters client's action or adjustment by interpreting attitudes and patterns of behavior; explaining and pointing out new options. * Performs individual and/or family therapy, as indicated. * Maintains medical record and department case documentation barriers to goal attainment, and client/family response to intervention. * Monitors planned actions by periodic follow-up. * Maintains effective operations by following policies and procedures; participating in quality reviews; reporting needed changes. * Participates in interdisciplinary conferences and provides consultation for clinical staff. * Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. * Complies with federal, state, and local legal and certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. * Performs other related duties as required and directed.
