We are seeking a full-time licensed counselor or social worker to serve youth and adults in need of Behavioral Health services.
The salary range for this position is
based on experience, education, and/or licensure:
Dependently Licensed: $22.29 - $26.82/hr.
Dependently Licensed, Seeking Independent Licensure: $24.93 - $29.20/hr.
Independently Licensed: $61,174.73-$71,675.95
Essential Functions:
Assesses or defines the strengths and needs of referred individuals and families.
Directly provides and coordinates clinical and social services that are problem-focused and build on family and community strengths.
Carries out utilization review and quality assurance activities as directed.
Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation, attends team and program planning meetings, cross-systems training, and acquires knowledge of community resources.
Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Must meet requirements for licensure as defined by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board.
LSW, LPC required. LISW, LPCC preferred.
Demonstrated a high degree of cultural awareness.
Experience with multi-need individuals and families.
Broad knowledge of community service systems.
Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities.
Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.

Conducts group therapy with Crisis Residential clients - helping them manage emotional regulation, relationships, and illness management and recovery.
Collaborate & communicate with all staff to assure appropriateness and safety of programming for each client.
Contribute to treatment process as needed. Assists with intakes, treatment plans, discharge planning, discharges and other unit responsibilities and client's activities of daily living.
Manage a case load of clients as needed (typically up to 5 clients, but possibly more depending on client census in the CSU); communicate with manager about the needs of clients; maintain a solid working knowledge of all clients in CSU to allow reporting of important information to subsequent shift members, external agencies, etc.;
Provide general case management services and referrals for clients while on the CSU; contact sources of collateral information such as family members, therapists, case managers, family doctors, etc.
Delegate non-clinical tasks to technicians as necessary (e.g. copying resource flyers; obtaining supplies, making coffee, cleaning rooms, etc.);
Perform linkage of clients to other mental health agencies via the hospital linkage program;
Serve as multi-disciplinary team member on CSU treatment team.
Provide discharge planning, crisis interventions, daily client care, and other duties as needed.

Social Worker - Integrated Care (GS-11) (Springfield, OH): The incumbent is assigned as Social Worker (SW) in Integrated Care (IC) who works at the interface between primary care (PC) and/or specialty medicine (SM) in an integrated care model. The position is assigned to the Mental Health Service and requires extensive work with Veterans diagnosed with medical conditions, mental illness, and substance use disorders (SUD). This position also requires advanced training in the management of crisis situations. The IC SW assures adequate identification and treatment of a variety of emotional and psychiatric problems of Veterans in a PC and/or SM setting. JOB SUMMARY
This position ensures organizational excellence related to customer service and quality of care while promoting excellence in the cultural experience at assigned hospital. This position is responsible for providing services to patients, families and significant others including, as appropriate, completion of biopsychosocial assessments, psychiatric diagnoses, formulation of treatment plans and treatment interventions, therapy sessions (individual, couple, families or group), implementation of treatment plans and discharge planning in order to support and/or enhance biopsychosocial functioning. This role will receive referrals for individuals from at-risk populations from interdisciplinary team members (including physicians, Case Managers, staff nurses and other members of the care team).
The Social Worker MSW, LISW also performs advanced functions including staff education, development, training, mentoring, project development and administrative or supervisory responsibilities that advance the mission of the department and organization. The clinician can practice independently and without supervision as permitted by the State of Ohio licensure. This position may be responsible for supervising select social service functions and overseeing administrative responsibilities for scheduling staff, daily assigning of cases, and assisting the manager with direct supervision of the social work staff and masters level interns and students.

Staff is accountable for coordinating clinical and financial outcomes of an assigned population. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary staff and external organizations to achieve timely, cost effective management of patient care. Monitors for quality and type of services delivered to patients, ensuring management within established parameters. Functions as a liaison to the payer to manage the post-discharge financial resources and ensure expected treatment process, progress and discharge plan.
