Overview
The Environmental Services Superintendent will be responsible for the administration and execution of the City's NPDES/TPDES, MS4 permit and active environmental programs to ensure they are in compliance with regulations and fully implemented.
Responsibilities
* Manage programs and lead Environmental Quality Specialists, provide direction on regulatory issues on an as needed basis or when new regulations impact Storm Water operations.
* Manage staff by training and instructing on policy and technical interpretations.
* Provide customer service by responding to citizen and staff concerns, coordinating with the City Environmental Services section.
* Manage and provide compliance oversight for federal and state environmental programs for the Storm Water operations.
* Promote environmental compliance by communication, coordination, training, and creativity with various departments to achieve departmental goals.
* Coordinate the engineering function for Storm Water operations and review development infrastructure and construction plans.
* Participate in regular planning sessions with department management and information forums with citizens.
* Provide administrative and budgetary support to the department.
* May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

About once a week, you'll come to the office to meet with the rest of your interdisciplinary team: the RNs, physicians, chaplains, and fellow nurses who work together to provide 360-degree support to the patients and families we serve.

Ability to travel per job requirements.
Thorough knowledge of community resources or the desire/ability to obtain this knowledge.
Knowledge of key psychosocial issues prevalent with terminally ill patients and their family/caregivers, including the knowledge of effective psychosocial interventions to address those issues.

QUALIFICATIONS
Masters of Social Work required from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, unless grandfathered in per the 2008 Medicare Hospice Condition of Participation
At least one year social work experience in a health care setting.

Experience in providing counseling and support to patients and families.

Job Responsibilities
Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, socialworkers, and other healthcare providers.
Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
Stay current with advancements in psychotherapy and counseling through continuing education and professional development.
