POSITION SUMMARY:
Safely operate machinery with maximum efficiency, while maintaining product quality and following regulatory and company guidelines for sanitation and safety
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate machinery, to include machine set-up, operation, change overs, and troubleshooting, to detect product (raw or finished) defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary;
Maintain GMP (good housekeeping) standards at and around machinery;
Perform SOPs for machinery in assigned area;
Cross training or training on equipment as defined by manager;

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for monitoring the food safety and quality of products and services to ensure they meet all customer and regulatory standards by utilizing quality tools and systems application.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all required product and batch inspection responsibilities.
Maintain work areas and equipment within GMP and GLP standards
Place non-conforming raw materials, packaging, and finished products on hold as required.
Perform required analytical and microbiological testing as defined by Food Safety and Quality systems

Gansevoort Hotel Group is looking for a Special Events Coordinator to join our team! This role will support Director of Special Events as well Events Sales Managers with admin tasks to ensure smooth operation of the department. You will liaise with the chef and banquet staff to successfully execute catered meetings and events
Primary functions for this role include but are not limited to:
- Oversee minimum spend bookings for groups under 20 guests.
- Respond to all calls, e-mails, and Tripleseat leads regarding larger group reservations (events under 20 guests).
- Quote large party reservations with minimum spends for semi-private spaces based on menus and rates provided by the Director of Events.
- Offer client catering options and incorporate them into the BEO (Banquet Event Order) when applicable.
Event Coordination:
- Input all minimum spend and catering details into the BEO, collecting signatures and payment information from clients to record in Tripleseat.
- Maintain and manage event BEOs, timelines, and proposals within Tripleseat, communicating with the guest services team to block off spaces as needed.
- Communicate all large party reservations and events to the Events team and Food & Beverage (F&B) management.

- Ensure all catering orders are communicated to the kitchen at least 48 hours prior to the event date, including dietary restrictions and setup requirements.
Team Collaboration:

ABOUT THE ROLE You will be a member of our multi-disciplinary team and will work under the direction of designated project leadership. Projects may include new construction and renovation in educational, healthcare, corporate commercial and science and technology. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform designs of piping and equipment selection for plumbing and fire protection systems for building design; independently for smaller/less technical projects; requiring supervision of senior engineer for complex projects.
Prepare calculations using correct parameters with supervisory review
Prepare production drawings of plumbing and fire protection systems from schematic to construction design phases.
Edit specifications relating to existing or new projects.
Specify plumbing and fire protection equipment such as sprinkler, sewerage and medical gas systems.
Review shop drawings for compliance of specifications and contract documents.
Interface effectively with clients and members of the project team by attending Owner, Architect, Construction Administration (OAC) meetings in conjunction with project budget.
May independently research as need arises and respond to emergent issues.
Participate or lead value engineering sessions with Architectural/Engineering team.
Conduct staff development activities, including mentoring /training presentations.
May direct activities of staff with less experience.
Conduct field site visits during construction phase. Site visits frequently require a physical walk through of site and may be done independently.
Must be willing to perform overtime work and travel.
May perform other duties as required.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Current PE in Mechanical or FPE in the United States required.
Minimum of 4+ years of related experience required.
LEED accreditation preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to effectively handle multiple projects.
Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit) required.
The salary range for this position to be filled in the Buffalo, NY office is $66,700 - $83,400 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
