High school graduate or equivalent. Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
One (1) year in post-acute care or other geriatric-related field preferred

Assist with effective management and oversight of bookkeeping functions including: posting payments and charges to patient ledgers, balance daily receipts, collect delinquent accounts, and evaluate need for and refer delinquent accounts to collection agencies
Maintain facility checkbook and reconcile checkbook regularly
Responsible for patient accounts
Assume the duties of the BOM in his/her absence
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
Assist in the evacuation of patients
Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance

* Review Final Validation Reports and attest that all assessments have been completed and accepted into the CMS QIES system prior to billing and notify the Business Office when assessments are not ready to bill
* Review CMS Reports to identify assessments completed or submitted late and develop systems and processes to prevent reoccurrence
* Attend and participate in the Daily PPS Meeting, Monthly Triple Check, and other meetings upon request
* Perform functions of a staff nurse as required

Report injuries of an unknown source, including skin tears.
Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures and as instructed by your supervisors.
Follow work assignments and/or work schedules in completing and performing your assigned tasks.
Cooperate with inter-departmental personnel, as well as other Community personnel, to ensure that nursing services can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.
Monitor nursing care to ensure that all residents are treated fairly, and with kindness, dignity, and respect.

May interview C.N.A's; perform drug screening as it relates to the interview process.
May work with management reporting/collecting employee information related to Workman's Compensation incidents.

May assist with arranging doctor or outside appointment for resident.
Liaison between nursing agencies.
Shares employee vacation requests' with Director of Clinical Services.

Reviews policy and procedures with all new C.N.A students, and with new employees.

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients get their _power back_ . You are the person who can help people communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. In doing this, you take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, you design the plan, and work with patients to execute those plans.

1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
2. A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow. We will also accept candidates who are eligible to obtain the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
3. Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.
