Joining our Security team, your role will be responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of safety and security for our residents, guests, and staff. You will do this by monitoring and patrolling our property, escorting/assisting residents and guests as needed, and more!
Patrols interior and exterior of buildings and grounds.
Monitors the welfare of residents by performing daily status check procedures.
Responds to resident and staff emergency medical situations along with the nursing staff and escorts emergency personnel (i.e. fire department, ambulance, police) to scene of emergency.
Records all significant observations/happenings and other appropriate documentation.
Monitors and controls vendor services and parking on property.

Who you are:
Has the ability to obtain an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help with the obtaining the card)
Have a High school Diploma or GED
Has one year security experience
Have a valid driver license with satisfactory driving record.
Arizona DPS unarmed guard certification (we can assist with this certification).
Can effectively and calmly communicate orally and in writing in English and make rational decisions in critical situations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to walk inside and outside of the Sagewood campus and stand and/or climb stairs approximately 75% of each shift. Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to transport residents via wheelchair or other devices for up to 250 pounds. Requires manual coordination to operate telephones, radio, computer, and other business equipment. Normal vision and hearing required. May be exposed to communicable diseases including influenza, HIV and Hepatitis. May be exposed to unpleasant odors, high heat levels, and institutional cleaning chemicals.

Salary: $25 PER HOUR
The Fitness Specialist (βSpecialistβ) uses specialized educational experience and training combined with independent judgment to ensure quality in all areas of the Fitness Center, including but not limited to, exercise program design, fitness testing, nutritional advice, customer service, group exercise, and other Fitness Center and/or departmental initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in a health-related field, preferably from a four-year college/university. Internship or work experience with older adult clientele preferred. Six months to one year of experience in the field preferred.
Ability to teach basic balance, chair exercise and muscle conditioning group fitness classes; where applicable; aquatic experience preferred. Ability to safely and accurately prescribe exercise for older adult clientele using ACSM guidelines Certifications.
Current Personal Trainer certification from an accredited organization. Current
CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
