Follows information on the monthly calendar of activities. Sets up equipment and supplies for activities and puts them away afterwards. Takes participants on scheduled field trips. Completes all necessary paperwork. Required to complete daily documentation needed for program billing. Assists the participant in ADL (Activities of Daily Living). Responsible for daily toileting, changing and personal care for program participants. Complete assigned kitchen duties for breakfast and lunch. Operates various kitchen appliances and utensils. Distributes breakfast, lunch and snack daily. Completes laundry on assigned days. Other duties as assigned Program Assistant Qualifications (Skills and Abilities): Must be at least twenty-one years of age. High school diploma or have obtained GED or equivalent. Prior experience in working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or elderly preferred.
