Works with the residential director, house managers, finance, and human resources to enforce all licensing requirements and maintain compliance in their residential houses. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for a variety of duties related to providing support and care for individuals living in Skill Creations, Inc. facilities, who have needs in the area of physical /medical care, behavioral support, cognitive support and independent living. The Direct Support Professional provides care according to the specific needs of the individuals. This includes but is not limited assistance and education with personal care, medication administration and independent living skills. Direct Support Professionals also help to transport/accompany individuals to activities in the community and to local or out of town appointments.
