    The Neuro Med/Surg Tele Nurse will work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit certified as a Stroke Center and a Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Primarily focused on neuro-related diagnoses, this unit also serves as a telemetry overflow for diverse patient populations, enhancing the nurse's skillset beyond neurology. Responsibilities Provide care for patients with various neuro-related conditions. Monitor telemetry patients and assess cardiac status. Administer medications and manage IVs, including cardiac drips. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning. Float to other units as needed to support the hospital's demands. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of experience in Neurology and Med/Surg Tele nursing. Valid BLS and ACLS certifications. NIHSS certification is necessary before orientation.
